Lavender Lane Early Learning Services Gungahlin

My daughter has attended this service for the last 2 years, she is always excited to go to “school” and comes home telling us all the fun that she has had. The educators care for the children and there wellbeing and are on top of our Daughter’s asthma plan always keeping in contact and letting us know each day how she went. My daughter attends full time and it makes it so easy and helps me relax knowing that she is cared for ,loved and learning so much in Lavender Lane Gungahlin Care

The staff are such wonderful, caring individuals. They go the extra mile for all the families and have always been so inclusive with my son. I cannot speak more highly of this centre.

We really love this centre. The staff are caring and kind and are happy to tailor their approach to your child’s needs. There are lots of rooms with smaller numbers of children - so our child gets that extra attention and consistency in who is caring for them. It is slightly more expensive than other centres, but worth it.

My girls have been going to Lavender Lane for more than three years now. The staff there really care about the kids - they know their likes and dislikes, who their friends are, what they've done during the day etc. Staff turnover is very low with many of the carers being there for 5+ years.The centre itself is very cosy with nice rooms, great play areas (separate ones for babies, toddlers and preschoolers), chickens and a garden. The kids get served awesome food every day.There's always fun activities and my preschooler gets to do science experiments and all kinds of educational activities. They do a great job of tailoring learning experiences to individual needs.In short, Lavender Lane is everything that a great daycare should be. I can't recommend it highly enough.

They literally have the most AMAZING STAFF! The educators really do go above and beyond - They have assisted our son with his development in a very individualised way. They are very accommodating.  Such a safe, fun, loving environment - one that I can not fault. I love Lavender Lane and so does my son. Highly recommend.

Educators in my child room was lovely. Always shared what she did when I picked her up. My child somehow keep saying she doesn’t want to go to daycare and always cry when I dropped her off. I should have trust my guts back then. At orientation day when masks still a mandate, I noticed some educator incorrectly wear the mask every single time I was there. But I dismissed that. Then came along some hiccups with the management. I verbally asked about the 9 hours per day arrangement and confirmed it twice if I need to submit a form and she said it will be automatically adjusted. To my surprise, 4 weeks later we had to pay more because it wasn’t 9 hours per day! It got rectified after I complained about it. Since then I always send email to have every questions in writing. Another problem happened with holiday discount, I submitted for 6 days off but it only got applied 4 days. That was it! For $157.50/day I think I am paying for a decent service. Almost 1 month after our last day we got message that we owe them some money. I enquired to where should I send the money to since I don’t want to send it to the wrong account, but so far no reply. Like every other email I sent. No reply!

To say we love this daycare is an understatement! The educators are kind, caring and act as second parents to our kids. Our youngest had a medical episode while at daycare last year and the way the staff responded to it was seamless, caring and second to none. Our kids are so comfortable and happy, drop offs are a BREEZE. We are forever grateful to the staff at Lavender Lane and couldn’t imagine our kids going to a different centre!!

I've been sending my boys here for just over a year. The staff are brilliant, take the time to get to know you and your family. Would recommend.

Most of the staff in this child centre is rude.Most expensive childcare in Canberra with poor services. No wonder why the staff is leaving too.

Love this day care! We moved the twins here from another day care and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend
