Adelaide Botanic Garden
I've always loved the Botanical Garden- so nice to have such an amazing free space for relaxing and educating yourself on some awesome history and amazing plants.Had an extra great experience seeing the corpse flower that bloomed a few months ago. Obviously very long line on the day, but volunteers and staff were amazing and I met some great people in line! Once at the flower, I got to spend a good bit of time seeing it and didn't feel rushed. So glad we have this amazing garden in Adelaide!

Gorgeous gardens with spacious walking trails among Aussie flora. Love the way there are tall trees planted strategically alongside the trails to give shade to visitors even at sunny noon time!If you need help, follow the signage to the Visitor Information shop. Friendly staff to assist you. You can also buy gardening materials and various plants to spruce up your own garden at Diggers Garden shop.Access to these gardens is easiest by tram (yellow line), with a short 3-min walk from the tram stop (Botanic Gardens).

What a beautiful garden right in the middle of the Adelaide city. We loved the walk, variety of plants and trees and were impressed by the cafes inside the garden. Loved every piece of it. Will be coming here again!!

The interesting point of this place is that although it's located in CBD, it gives you a different experience with the diversity of plants from all over the world. You can relax with family, friends or simply take a walk alone to enjoy the green space, immerse yourself in the world of trees and connect with mother nature.

Adelaide Botanic Garden
A sensational garden! Very well planned, lots of variety and we loved the little tracks through the trees! Well signed, lots of amusement and surprise and birds galore. We loved how many edible varieties there were too. Anyone visiting Adelaide with a few hours to kill will love this place. Also great for kids as there’s plenty of area to run about and also have a picnic. There was a special event on while we were there with big dinosaurs in the gardens and the kids seemed to be loving that!

An excellent place to visit and explore, among other things, the diversity of plants, trees and animals. It is free too!A great day to spend time with friends, family or just by yourself in a relaxing manner whilst getting some good exercise.Tip: Visit on any Sunday and likely surrounding car parks are free.

What a beautiful place to visit! The Botanic Gardens is free to enter and is conveniently located on the free tram route. We spent a good 2-3 hours there and only touched on the surface of what the gardens has to offer. Definitely a place that warrants multiple trips to really appreciate. There’s a variety of areas to see including everything from a rose garden to a succulent garden to a conservatory with ferns and other tropical plants. The site is really well maintained and has ample areas to sit and just relax. There’s multiple paths throughout the place, so I’d recommend having a map to help you navigate (unfortunately, though there are signposts indicating different sites, they don’t have nearly enough maps posted throughout the gardens).Overall, great place to visit! One of the best Botanical Gardens we’ve seen in Australia!
