Good shop, very pleasant staff.

Amazingly helpful and fast Knows everything and looks after our packages etc even when we can’t get there for a while.

The stuff is very rude, un respectful, with no modals, discriminative, racist. Need to do a course of modals and how to talk and respect customers.

Friendly, personal, efficient service - always with a greeting and a smile. A true community asset.

Unfortunately my experience at this post office wasn't good. I went for a western union transaction and the man wouldn't accept my Victorian Drivers License because it's worn on the edges but the photo, address, and numbers are all visible and clear. I asked if I can get him a statutory declaration from the police validating the ID. He said no to that too. He claimed that western union has a strict policy about a card being worn. (I called Western Union and they have not heard of such policy. They said as long as it's a valid government issued ID, they are happy.) He claimed that he would be arrested if he accepted my ID. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. So maybe avoid Australia Post at Lorne, Victoria if you want service, fairness, and common sense.(2nd entry I called the guy at the post office to inform him what Western Union said and that a statutory declaration is sufficient to put his mind at ease. He accepted that I go to the police and get a statement but by then the police station was unattended. At least he finally accepted a solution. I had to add this entry and be fair.)

Much more than a post office, warm and professional service every time.

Back in the day we it old Lorne post office my great uncle john carl Schmidt was the manager and in my father younger day my dad us to work at the post office in his school holidays.

The reviewer who described the friendly,extremely efficient “old guy”says more about their rude uneducated outlook on life and would imagine a serial negative reviewer.if you have nothing positive to contribute keep your diatribe to yourself.Stay at home.Our postmaster is a gem.You are a nothing.

The old guy in the front is extremetly rude, he’s not helpful at all. Worst post office in all australia. Don’t waste your time going there and go to another one!
