Unfortunately the food quality tonight was sub par. The nachos were great but the tacos were underwhelming. The deep friend chicken and mushrooms tasted burnt and were tough to eat. The music (r ‘n’ b) was also not the most enjoyable for a dinner environment at a Mexican restaurant. House music or something a little more subtle would have been better. The service was also sub par. The waitress was still learning the menu (which is fine) but there were other waitstaff who could have helped her.

Great experience!! They have new owners who are really amazing people doing the best they can with this restaurant.Food is delicious, portions are plentiful, and Margaritas are the best in all Australia!At the back they have like a magic place with pretty deco and lovely music.Definitely recomend it!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to. The food is clearly made with love, and the service is absolutely sensational. In particular, I would like to thank Jardin by Caracara for accommodating.Incredible execution of true Mexican food. Quality, precision and tonnes of flavour. Every dish was a pleasure and just enough spice. I'll definitely be coming back again!

New owners, new staff and the best experience! Had the BBQ beef Tacos and they were absolutely amazing! The quality of food was spectacular, so fresh and delicious. The service was great and so fast. New owners are genuinely some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and really put in the effort to make every customer feel welcomed. MUST TRY!!!

It's soooo nice to be back eating at this place...new owners are incredibly welcoming and everyone that served us were so lovely.The food was so flavoursome and fresh...and the specials they have on each day are an absolute bonus.I am so excited to watch this place flourish once again...do yourself a favour and go there ASAP.

My first time eating here on the weekend and the food was amazing. From the front it looks like a little restaurant but they have a nicely set up hidden bar at the back. Enjoyed my time here, the owners are lovely will be back :)

The food is absolutely amazing, its the best Mexican I've ever had compared to other restaurants. The drinks are perfectly cold and taste amazing! The new owners and staff are absolutely lovely to talk to as well, always making sure I'm enjoying myself. 5 star for service and food, will come again.

The most bland burritos I have ever eaten my wife didn't even eat hers no cheese taco sauce or sour cream.They advertised live music on there sign but there was none! On new years eve when we asked they said it was to expensive. Male staff member was good the female was very unfriendly! Won't be going back.

I had an amazing experience at Caracara Mexican restaurant last night! The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were perfectly cold - just what I needed after a long day. I especially loved the juicy corn chips, which were a perfect accompaniment to our meal. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend Caracara for anyone looking for a great Mexican dining experience. Five stars!

The new owners of this delicious restaurant have created an amazing menu with some of the most delicious Mexican food on the Gold Coast! The tacos were insane and the cocktails were even better! Highly recommend!
