Had a great stay with the family and loved the relaxing experience. It was a rainy stay but the staff were accommodating and the tents waterproof and comfy. The included evening and morning tours of the zoo were informative and was great to see the animals when they were more active.

The three included walks were excellent and probably the highlight. Staff were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, food was plentiful, and amenities were clean. Sitting on the tent's little deck overlooking the billabong was very pleasant, aided by the fact I was blessed with perfect weather. The camp beds are camp beds, but I slept well. Maybe the frogs acted as white noise.

I’ve been to zoos all over the world and this experience was one of the best. Waking up to the lions roaring and watching the animals after dark and early morning was amazing, would recommend to anyone. The camping setup is basic but comfortable, amenities are 8 showers/bathrooms and quite good. Dinner provided was a typical bbq with chicken, pork, pasta, salad, and potatoes. Breakfast was pancakes and toast.

I was traveling all around the Australia about 3 months. I really enjoyed at the Taronga zoo and stay 1 night in Billabong camp. Everything was happy. but one of the chubby male staff ruined my trip. It was when i was being served dinner. He asked me if I had a problem with my digestive. I didn't get what he was ask about that at that time. I hesitated because I couldn't answer. He suddenly ask back in a very irritating voice what is digestive?" There were a lot of people around and I was very embarrassed. It sounded insulting to me. You guys work at a tourist spot. There are a lot of foreign tourists coming and going

its a prettyy great experience... the tour guides are very friendly and the animals are cute. it has very strong summercamp vibes. the tents are extremely small, only just fitting 3 single beds, and they were very uncomfortable. they also are not great with the heat, you will need to sit outside. generally a good experience if you have kids but if not its way worth it to just stay in the nicer accommodation.

A little stingy on the food which could have been plainer for a largely children/family audience. But the staff/walks/talks and glamping tents were great. Oct 2019 school holidays and very fortunate to have comfortable weather.I would definitely recommend or go again. Presumably not open during lockdowns but after, the outdoorsyness is well suited to Covid precautions.

Nice experience, staff were really friendly. There are some miscommunications from instructions from emails received to what should be followed, so a few hiccups along the way. The same during meal times & guided tours, so best to double check what's happening. If you ever decided to go and it's winter, I'd suggest to bring extra blankets/doona/sleeping bag.

Good experience to stay inside the zoo. Keep the expectations low, You won't be disappointed.Kids will enjoy the stay more than adults, and a nice way to experience camp setup if you haven't done before.

Pretty disorganised. It was difficult to know what was going on when checking in and at meal times. The staff were nice, but need support from management to setup proper processes and give them some training. Even simple things like knowing how many tents are in a site.Tents themselves were fine and clean. The good bits are definitely the walks at night and in the morning. Hearing lions roar at night was good fun, but they had to compete with the traffic noises.

Accommodations were comfortable after a long day at the zoo and the staff were very friendly. We found the first day to be very, very long if you have an early start at the zoo. By the time we returned to the camp after the evening walks, it was nearly 9pm after a full day of walking. Kids and adults were all totally beat, but we slept well!Amenities are decent, though can be very busy if the sites are fully booked. The food was very average and the whole experience was a bit disorganised.
