Pasta Buoy
Fantastic pasta! It got the Cacio e Pepe Rigatoni and it was very flavourful! The garlic butter sourdough cob was really great too! Friendly service and super clean take out restaurant!

A must visit when in Huskie! The food is excellent and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend the Garlic Cob Sourdough, Wagu Lasagne and Carbonara. The only drawback is not offering a full dine in experience, meaning you are given everything in take-away cartons and have no choice but to eat at the adjacent outdoor table and chairs.

Fine dining pasta in a quick setting. The flavor is extraordinary. Beef cheek is very tender. Lasagna is a bit crispy on top. Inside has a wonderful herb and spice mix. Best lasagna I had. Fresh uplifting shop design. Comes with a cocktail bar on the side with drinking area.

5/5 if you’re visiting Huskisson and enjoy amazing food stop here. Everything we ordered was amazing, garlic bread, squid ink noodles, lasagna, beef pasta (drawing a blank on the names of the dishes) but they were to die for. Coming from LA this flat out beats most of the popular pasta places there.

I came across this incredible pasta place whilst roaming the streets of Huskisson. I have been holidaying at Huskisson since I was a little girl, and I can say hands down that this place is exactly what Husky needed! It has the most delicious selections of pasta dishes, delicately paired with mouth watering sugo, all made in house. They all come served in take away containers which makes it so easy to take down to the beach to enjoy under the warm Husky sun! A stand out for me was their 'Famous Alla Vodka' which I could not stop talking about all the way home. Just down the street they have an intimate bare which shares the same costal European atmosphere which is to die for! I really hope they open another store closer to home (Sydney) very soon!!

What a fantastic find!! We stopped off in Husky over the summer and found this gem of a place. They were actually just closing... but the guys here were legends and made me the most delicious carbonara, as I explained we'd just stopped off for a bite to eat before heading home. Fresh home made pasta and all the sauces with all the vibes. So good!! Gluten free pasta available also and it's the tasty one too. The cocktail bar opened up just a few days ago and the Margi's are to die for, cool ambience and the decor is spot on. It's really fab to see local family friends doing so well with a business here. We'll definitely be back again. Wishing one day Pasta Buoy #2 opens up in Bondi!

WOW! Yeahhh buoyyAmazing customer service, very accommodating to dietary needs and requests. Spotted from across the road and was immediately intrigued had to find out what it was about. The atmosphere from the beginning set the tone of our experience and the food did not disappoint. We tried the alla vodka rigatoni, pesto fusilli and alla norma casarecce. All of which were perfectly cooked, with sauces that were evenly balance. Overall our experience was extremely enjoyable a must try in Huskisson. We will definitely be back!

I wish I had better things to say about this place since we were looking forward to it all day but it was a disappointing experience. We ordered at 7.14pm - 4 pastas and a garlic cob ($133 with four soft drinks). We were relieved to have gotten in before a big rush of people arrived but that soured as we watched many people who ordered after us collect their food.We questioned the time it was taking at 7.40pm thinking our order was lost, but were told it was a few minutes away. At 7.56pm, when our drinks had warmed, our buzzer finally went off. We asked why our order took almost 45mins, the first reaction was that it hadn’t, until the server looked at the time stamp on our order receipt. It was then explained to us that if multiple people ordered the same thing the chef would batch it. No consideration for the order placement and when we asked why that wasn’t communicated, there was no apology for the delay, it felt like a dismissal. We hoped the pastas would make up for the lack of service, and whilst the squid ink pasta tasty and the burrata tagliatelle was fine unfortunately the lasagne was dry and burnt on top, the cob was dry with a pool of oil underneath and the cacio e pepe was inedible. We had wanted to feed this back in person but after the earlier dismissal we thought it wouldn’t be heard. We hope this establishment improves but we won’t be back.

The location is brilliant, the service outstanding and the vibe is fun and youthful and Euro-beachy. But the best thing about Pasta Buoy is the pasta! Fresh pasta, in my experience, is tough to keep al dente, but the chefs at Pasta Buoy know what they’re doing. Firm but chewy, smooth and silky, with sauces that perfectly compliment the hard work they’ve put in on the pasta. The cacio e Pepe was a touch salty but still delicious and buttery. The alla vodka was spicy enough to make your tongue tingle without blowing your head off, and so deliciously creamy and tomatoey… sheer perfection. Can’t wait to try the lasagne and beef cheek ragu we brought home for dinner! (And can’t wait to bring my friends and family back again and again until I’ve tried the whole menu!)
