Rivers Albany

Service was good,staff friendly but the stock not good. The worst selection of shoes I have seen in any of my trips,many to a Rivers.

Reasonable prices for clothing that does not shrink especially jeans and shorts, bargains galore, further discounts if you're a member. Excellent customer service, greeting the moment you walk through the door.

Most items of men's clothing were size small, if not medium which is pretty useless to someone above average height. Went in last night and the staff were overtly rude, I walked into the store and you wouldn't know anyone was working. 2 ladies were down an isle talking to each other pretending to fix up hangers, never once greeting me, asking if I needed a hand or offered anything resembling customer service. I had to squeeze past them while they were chatting as they didn't even have the manners to acknowledge someone else was in the isle. When it came time to pay I had to ask them to come to the counter so I could make my purchase. Extremely disappointing, shall not be recommending this store to anyone.

Visited Rivers Albany recently and was welcomed by the staff member at the register. Really good to see great customer service is a big driving factor at this store alongside the specials on various clothing and footwear. NFC payments are also accepted which is a major plus too

Oh my gosh! I have been a member of Rivers for many years .When l went to buy a couple of winter trackies l was very dismayed at the lack of stock? I would estimate less than a third of the usual stock is available for sale. Perhaps it can be the result of the pandemic? None the less, Rivers usually offer items at excellent prices. There is no chance of finding fashion" items but l don't think that's the company's vision. Still worth a look from time to time."

The store is chaos, but you can get some great finds in here. The style has definitely improved over the past 10 years as well to also suit a younger buyer.

I always live shopping in Rivers. Lots of items to choose from. Service is very good and friendly.

Professional staff. Variety of ladies and menswear. Now some electrical goods.

As a visitor to Albany I was most disappointed with the customer service I received when purchasing an item of clothing. While I appreciate that the store is large and there are other tasks that require staff to complete, the obvious reluctance of staff to attend the service counter and the comments made to other staff in regard to serving customers was unprofessional and rude. Especially as this was said in my presence with no apology and no polite engagement and poor customer service in completing the transaction. The overall service was abrupt and rude and I will not attend this store again.
