Tash is a great teacher, kind and considerate. You can ask something 100 times and she explains it patiently each time!In just 3 years I have learned to read music and play the saxophone (and I'm still learning of course) but before this, I couldn't read a note!Even after my stroke, Tash continues with the same patience, comes up with practical suggestions, and I can resume my lessons at the speed that is possible for me.I look forward to my lesson each week!

I never played any instrument prior to joining Cockburn School of Music and was very confused whether it’s too late to learn any instrument. Tash made it very pleasant learning started from basic note reading to scales. Tash got very good knowledge of music as well as skill of teaching music even to adult students. My learning experience with Tash is Fantastic and Enjoyable and I will recommend Cockburn School of Music if you would like to learn music in systematic way.

My 8 yo is in his 2nd term with Cockburn School of Music learning piano. He has wanted to learn piano for well over a year. He loves the 1-on-1 tuition and is absolutely thriving more than I could have imagined. He’s been taught to read music independently and accurately (literacy is difficult for him at school and he has several medical and body challenges). He loves his weekly sessions.Thank you Tiffany and Tash, we are so proud of his music achievements.

My daughters have been learning music with Tash and the Cockburn School of Music for more than 5 years. Her fun, down to earth approach to learning an instrument has instilled in my daughters a love of music. Her knowledge and enthusiasm have helped them both achieve their goal of placement in a specialist high school music program. I highly recommend Cockburn School of Music.

I am so glad I found this music school! The teachers really know their stuff and are so, so encouraging and kind. The school is incredibly well run. They are organized, efficient and very reasonably priced. They offer both adults and kids classes in a variety of instruments. I cannot say enough about the quality of Cockburn School of Music!

Without a doubt learning music through the Cockburn School of Music is the best way to go for anyone with a love for music. My daughter has been learning with Tash now for over 5 years and loves every single lesson. Tash has a wonderful way of encouraging and motivating her to do her best. Over the years I've seen my daughter develop so much in her ability to read and write music in turn helping her build self confidence to perform at various levels. Thanks Tash, you're awesome and totally love seeing your passion for music come through your teaching style.
