Worst place ever. You are only paying for a booklet of work and the teachers barely help at all. There isn't much room at break times for over 60 students so it is very cramped. The work puts an unnecessary ammount of work and stress on the students.

Ever since I was a boy I would look forward to the day that I would be enrolled into Northshore..... while slightly exaggerated until the past few years Northshore's reputation has been held at royalty. However I am disappointed to say that this has not been the case recently. Not one, or two, or three BUT a general consensus has been formed that students attending Northshore have been put under stress, have had an increase in anxiety and feel like their teaching impact is short lasting at best due to the lack of enthusiasm and motivation injected in the children. The work load is not only described as being overly and unnecessarily tedious only creating an aversion of that topic in students; but the tutors are not delivering for the wage that is being presented to them. This is not only a problem to students.... but I could have gone through high school without having to hear Northshore is so bad" atleast 5 times a month. In summary - teach content in a more enjoyable way

The courses encourage students to reach for their academic potential.

Too strict and the teachers are disrespectful

When you consider paying tonnes of money on tutoring service, you want to be assisted and guided to the point you become an independent learner. Did Northshore do that? Not at all. All they gave was stress and had absolutely no way of tracking improvement and thus working on it. Quite disgusted, I leave you with my review and with many others who say the same. Coincidence? I think not.

Amazing curriculum that gives kids a head-start with school work decreasing stress and improving performance and grades. Good teachers too. Works smarter not harder.

My daughter Felicia says that she didn't recommend it, constantly complained about being overloaded with work and being unnecessarily stressed with work. As a result, she had quit with many negative opinions on the teaching style of North Shore, stating the lack of qualifications many teachers had. Whilst I was hopeful of North Shore, I am quite disappointed to what was reputed as providing high level tutoring support. As a parent, I had hoped to improve her marks; however, due to the failure to provide the necessary support, we have since moved to private tutoring. I truly hope you are able to improve from this.

Having been a past student here years ago,forced to come by my parents during my primary school years,I must express my honest advice. I HIGHLY urge all parents to not send their children here,and save yourself a good chunk of tuiton money. The tuiton service provided here is essentially a large class(15+) consisting of varying students. They are given a weekly booklet of exercises that do not relate to the school curriculum,run by underqualified adults taking the role as a weekend casual job. There is no individual tutoring,nor is it effective as many students are on different levels.Alot of parents will be hard sold or lured by the idea this is a proven centre of excellence and can boost your child's grades at school. Many students become depressed and stressed out here,with lack of supports and extra workload.

North Shore has been very useful for me academically. The teachers and staff are all friendly and super helpful. They gave me lots of booklets and practise questions which helped me so much during exam revision. Thanks!
