Lovely place. Great staff and great food. It got busy towards the end of our stay but the background noise was fine. Still able to talk easily without raising my voice. Will definitely be back.

Such an amazing hidden gem.A delightful place to have Afghan and Middle Eastern food.The ambience is pretty good, has parking available in front of the store and there is a parking lot available that is close by.The food was incredible. Very well cooked and was brilliantly spiced. The chicken and lamb kebabs were cooked so well that they were melting in the mouth.We had Mantu, the dumpling were nicely cooked and the daal has a nice mild spiced taste to it. From the entrees we also tried the AFC (Afghan fried chicken) and it was delicious. This dish is amazing. If you visit this place please try it.For the main course, we had the chicken biryani pallow which was amazing. The chicken was well cooked and the rice was hot and spicy. We also had the mixer kebab skewers platter and that was the highlight of our lunch. I have never had such perfectly cooked kebabs in Melbourne before.This place is surely a must visit for people who like middle eastern and Afghan food.

Afghani cuisine is now my go-to choice when dining out. My recent visit was nothing short of exceptional, and I'm still raving about the incredible dishes I tried. As a foodie who has dined at countless restaurants, I was blown away by the Mantu & Prawn dumplings. They were simply amazing, and in my opinion, even better than anything I have tried in China Town. The fusion of Asian and Middle Eastern flavours was a match made in culinary heaven. The food here is simply unbeatable, and I can confidently say it's the best in Melbourne by a long way.

Last night we went to our favourite family restaurant. We have been going to Ashy Afghan for many years, where we were warmly welcomed and generously fed and we diligently supported them throughout Covid. Last night we were made to feel very unwelcome and the experience was uncomfortable. The option to go licensed and the increase in price, along with their unwelcome demeanour means that we are now unlikely to return. This was the consensus of the whole group. We are saddened to feel this way as we have had many good times there over the years.

First time eating Afghan cuisine. I am impressed with the food. It was delicious and presented beautifully. The prawn dumplings was a nice surprise with an Asian structure and a Middle Eastern touch. Highly recommended. The service is excellent and is fully licensed.
