Taralga Wildlife Park
We visited the park on a nice rainy day but after a while when it was not pouring heavily we went inside to the natural habitat of the animals and birds. We really enjoyed getting close to them, we fed Albinos, Camel and sheep. Spending time with Bridget the wombat was really fun. We took really nice pictures of peacock, peafowl, South American bird's, Lama, ducks and many more.We also loved the coffee, vanilla shake and the vegetarian sandwiches. Every food item was very affordable. We also enjoyed the company of the owner and his family. We had a very memorable experience in the park.

Definitely worth a visit. Admission is very affordable and no extra fees for getting up and close with the animals. The staff are great and very knowledgeable. Our daughter loved holding the baby wombat and patting the dingo. Wide range of animals and an especially large range of birds to see. Cafe was also a highlight, and once again without the exorbitant prices you would normally see at a zoo.

I had the absolute best experience of my life here! The staff was so knowledgeable and awesome. I can’t wait to come back!Entry for adults was $15 (concession $10 and family prices were available if I recall correctly) which is insanely cheap considering all the animals the wildlife park has and how much care goes into caring for the beautiful animals they have. They’re open Thursday-Monday 10am-4pm and I think every day during the school holidays. If you’re in the area (or even if not) definitely go visit, it’s such a beautiful place to go!!

Love coming here. A great get away from town, plenty of interactions with the animals are possible. Staff are friendly and relaxed. Enjoyed a snack.

Highly recommend this place. Perfect day trip from Canberra. My 2 year old enjoyed feeding/touching the animals. Far better than the zoo’s. My little one loved cuddling the wombat. Saw few exotic birds. Fed peacocks, camel, alpaca, sheep, albino kangaroos, guinea pigs, rabbits etc. Tracey and John were very sweet! Tracey custom made a veg sandwich and veggie burger for us which tasted delicious. I would visit them again when time permits. Enjoyed every bit of it .

This place can't be missed!I have been to plenty of wildlife parks but this one is very special. All the birds are in large enclosures, they are happy and healthy looking. The animals are friendly and there is a huge range of animals to see here. Everything is well spread out and we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of animals here. The bathrooms wwre clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable of the animals and happy to have a chat. We were lucky enough to meet both the baby wombat and the beautiful dingo with an incredible hands on experience. There is a large range of delicious foods and drink selections available. The bathrooms were very clean and there was ample parking. I can't wait to visit again!

We had the best experience at Taralga wild life park, John and Tracey were very welcoming and it was fascinating to learn about the animals and how they are looked after. I would highly recommend visiting this park, it’s not huge but in a beautiful location and provides a better experience than big zoos.We had lunch at the cafe and the chicken burger was huge with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and real chicken breast for only $8- amazing value!

This is such a lovely place. the animals look quite happy here and you an get right up and play with most of them. I really enjoyed jogging with Susie the baby wombat, you can hold her, but she kept squirming in my arms, one of my friends held her for almost an hour! I loved the rabbits (who really enjoyed the cones) and the feed was complimentary. A very real experience, I can't wait to go back!

Gr8 for family with little kids. Get to feed the animals and walk around at your leisure and get the kids out stretching their legs and interacting with some of the animals. Lovely place, with rescued and retired animals from the bigger zoos. Also has a nice coffee and cakes and ice cream too
