Somerfield Farm

I've now been at Somerfield for 5 months and love it, the ground is still great through the wet season (my gumboots have stayed at home this whole time) the paddock set up is simply amazing and well thought out, a nice sized homeyard with a large shelter and 3 seperate paddock strips for rotation, I've cut my hard doers hard feed in half and roundbales in a net that only lasted 3 weeks for the past 3 years are now lasting 4 MONTHS!!! While the grass and soil gets a chance to rest a total of 2/3 of the year. Tack and equiptment is secure with each aggistee getting a private lockable tack shed and on the other side of the wide driveway a large shed with individual feed sections ensuring we all get our own spaces and no one gets left with a tiny corner, mice and rodents are near non existent from what I've seen (and I've often been the first there at 6am) which I put down to wild life which is a beautiful breath of fresh air.The facilities (and whole property) are well maintained and there's never a shortage of things to do and David and Gina are lovely and very accomodating.

Absolutely LOVED Somerfield Farm! The perfect place to keep your four-legged friend. David & Gina are the most lovely and accommodating owners who work tirelessly to make sure the farm is always in ship-shape. Can't recommend highly enough to anyone wanting to agist here :)

We were at Somerfield for a little over two and a half years , if I still had a horse this is definitely the place I would choose. David and Gina are wonderful, the facilities are fantastic and everything is run very efficiently. Lee is always a friendly smiling face and all the agistees I met in my time there, settled in to the family friendly and supportive environment. Great place highly recommended !

We have agisted here since November , 2019 and love it. Great paddocks, facilities and riding trails and a lovely, friendly community. Owners Gina and David have been fantastic in supporting and guiding us as first time horse owners. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Somerfield farm is an amazing agistment full of fellow horse and pony lovers. There is always someone around to get a second opinion or help and guidance. It’s a great little community but mostly offers a great range of trail or arena riding and hubby only mentioned to me this morning how much Somerfield makes him feel relaxed and calm. The grounds and tie ups are kept immaculately by the owners and manager, so much behind the scenes attention and a little help with us all doing our part really enhances the community feel to this place. Not to mention the field system allowing for a home yard and stable to help with those good doers of which I have 2. Too much goodness

I started agisting here at Somerfield Farm about 6 years ago as recommended by a good friend. Thank goodness! Six or more years on & I am just as happy here as the day I arrived. David and Gina are wonderful hosts and have gone to great lengths in designing and creating your 'happy place' for both you, and your horse. A truly well presented, and well kept 'all rounder' agistment property that offers an exceptional home for your horse, whilst offering endless riding opportunities too. Well priced with all the facilities - highly recommend.

Our time at Somerfield Farm has been wonderful and the support and kindness our family received by David and Gina ( and other agistees Lee and Julie) was incredidable. My grandaughters riding and passion for horses exploded since being at Somerfield and this was only enhanced by the environment at this wonderful agistment property.If we had not purchased our own property we most certainly would still be there. It was a very sad farewell.

Somerfield farm is a great place to agist, everyone there is lovely and they have great facilities and maintain the place really well.I highly suggest them as a place to agist your horse if you are wanting top quality agistment

Love this place so much. I haven't been here for long at all but i love Somerfield Farm so much. David and his staff were very welcoming and helped us out by making sure our move was as smooth as it could possibly be. The pasture here is incredible and the amazing facilities are well cared for.We had some very strong winds the other day and a tree branch had knocked a wire out of place so we moved the horses into the second paddock out of the three, expecting that the job wouldn't be done immediately due to the fact that there are many other jobs that need to be done, but within half an hour the fence was fixed and the horses were moved back to their original paddock.I highly recommend Somerfield Farm for anyone who is looking for a quality agistment on the Mornington Peninsula, the paddocks are great, the staff are all very friendly and all for a great price.If i could give this place more than 5 stars I definitely would!

I moved my 2 miniatures here 2 months ago and we couldn't be happier. Great community of horse lovers. Lot of things they can do on the property including trail riding, show jumping and cross country jumping , round yard, arena with lights. Having 3 paddocks to rotate with a huge corral with spacious open box. You don't have to worry about your tack as you have your own lockable tack room. Plus a generous individual area for for hard feed and hay. Somerfield Farm ticks all the boxes.
