Sheffield Group

After buying from Sheffield Blades for around 9 or so years yesterday we placed an urgent order, the same order we usually do. Then as per usual we get an invoice $3988 from Sheffield saying once paid, goods will be dispatched. We then paid on credit card. Then the following day we get a call from Sheffield saying sorry we have had a price rise and we made a mistake and invoiced the old amount, the new price is $4400. Once the extra $400 or so dollars are paid the order will be dispatched.These people refused to send the order, they knew was urgent until the extra amount was paid, an extra amount that was their error !!!A normal business would just send the order then explain there’s a price increase. Mistakes happen, no big deal but to hold my order they know we are waiting on over a price difference that was their mistake is atrocious business.Penny pinching organisation. We have found another supplier now, so happy that we don`t have to deal with the Sheffield Scabs anymore.Finally, still chasing my refund from these people for the original $3988. Super quick to process payments but not so speedy to refund it.Want or need blades, look around, there are better options.
