Psarakos Market

I come from Eltham to buy cans of low sodium mackerel, low sodium pickled veggies and occasional low sugar sweets, all imported from Europe. Yum. Always friendly, helpful staff if I have questions.

Psarakos Market is like a big, open pantry you find in all southern European homes, all the old favourites from Italy, Greece and Croatia among many others. Fruit and veg are top class and cheap and the deli goods are plentiful in variety. They sell booze too!

Located in Bundoora, plenty of different cheap produce, lots of parking available outside.

Very disappointed with purchases I made Easter Saturday.Bought 2 packets of Ravoli to have for lunch on Easter Sunday with my family.I had been looking for fresh pasta and was told to try Psarakos Market.When I opened the first packet and placed into boiling water did not notice anything, when I opened the second packet there were black marks on the pasta.It was mould.The use buy date was 28/4/2022 so it wasn't out of date.I took a photo and decided to return the packets Monday, but unfortunately the market was closed as it was a public holiday.Running out of time and not being able to get back, decided to write instead.Will definitely not be using this Market again.

privately owned marketplace needs a new butcher and seafood shop they are very old and tiered

Good price and variety. Disappointed for being overcharged at the checkout. 4 pieces of canteloupe weighed 2.2kg, my scale is only 1.1kg.

Great place to shop ,nice friendly people

A large selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices, but very little space on the cash register when paying. I can't take the groceries out of the basket and pack them into the bags at the same time, because the cashiers don't do that..

Great range of delicatessen and groceries and fruit. Recommended

Deli is great, Psarakos offers a big variety of produce and everything sold is well priced. Staff is always polite and eager to help. Fruits could have been of better quality though but still cheaper than other places.
