Staff is fantastic and friendly with full table service something you don't see at all sports bars food is the same as you expect at most places but still definitely worth the trip

Two identical stakes ordered, they came out together, one was perfect med-rare, as ordered, the other one was much more medium and dry. The whole place could do with a refurbish, it's dark and falling behind today's standards I think. Not a fan any more

I haven't been to Magpies for 13 years and it was a pleasant experience. Food was mostly nice, I would recommend having a variety of fresh steamed vegetables (we had a huge amount of frozen beans and carrots) also chips had no seasoning. We enjoyed our visit and will visit again. Prices were good too!

I dined in with a table of 18 people a couple weeks ago and I was very impressed at how fast the meals came out. The restaurant was almost full aswell.I altered a vegetarian pasta and made it vegan and the waitress (Georgia I believe) was very considerate in making sure the dish was macadmia nut free as I am allergic. I also found her to be very confident and assertive with the ordering and she looked after our table well. My meal was delicious and I really appreciate the extra care taken with my allergy.Thank you for excellent service!

What a great place for a family gathering. The service by the staff is top tier, the facilities are fantastic (includes a kids area!) and the food was very tasty! The kids meals I was most impressed with, affordable meals + drinks + dessert + kids goodie bag! WOW! The adult meals were fantastic too, great value for money and delicious! I will definitely be returning to Magpies for my next family gathering!

Went there to watch the Superbowl and had a great time. They served us food during the game, everyone was friendly and some people received hats from a TAB representative. For a Monday the place was pretty full for lunch and everyone looked like they were enjoying it.

Morning tea here is a must. They have a huge array of delectable cakes and slices, make superb toasted sandwiches and excellent coffee and shakes. Big round tables allow a large group to sit together in the lounge area too. Definitely a place to go!

Meals arrived reasonably quickly & well presented.Unfortunately my medium rare steak was closer to blue & thus quite chewy. My friend was very happy with her salmon meal.Front desk staff were exceptional. Wait staff at the tables were very good, if a little short staffed maybe. Bar staff also very good. The staff in general are a credit to this establishment.
