I had a big trip ahead of me, so a day or two before I left, I had Burdekin Motors service my car. I didn't even make it to Mt Isa before I identified I had a big problem. They had my vehicle for nearly a full day and at no time did they mention to me that the leak I had was NOT from the air-con as I thought it was, but the water pump and/or turbo hose which I had to get both replaced in Mt Isa. If they had done their job properly, I do not believe I would now be stuck with a vehicle that has a cracked head that I cant afford to fix. Why? Because the mechanics in Mt Isa stuffed up by replacing the radiator cap with a new one NOT rated for the radiator in my vehicle and once I made it to Toowoomba, I also had to get the heater hose replaced after finding more water under the vehicle. Just a long chain of events that was like a domino effect.
