Freedom - Warrawong

Our delivery of 2 pieces of furniture we have waited 13 weeks for arrived in appalling condition today. We previously had to spend double to replace 2 x bedsides that couldn't be supplied in the same Cosgrove range. An all round disgrace of a transaction & a real blight on the Freedom" brand we have been loyal to for 25yrs."

Purchased outdoor furniture. Item was reduced by a further $460 on pick up which we didn't realise. Paid remainder and picked up on a Saturday. Realised it was cheaper that night. Emailed customer service and received a generic reply sorry no price match on past orders" - literally paid and picked up that day.Two days later reduced by a $1300!!! Went into store to speak politely with the staff hoping to get a voucher for the difference (I'm in retail so thought they'd appreciate a disgruntled customer who wasn't rude or aggressive).Told that's not the price even though I had proof of ne being logged in as a member.Offered to return items and reorder. Only then was I told the return policy. This has NEVER been mentioned any time during this order or past orders. I would think it should be mentioned particularly when customers are talking about being unsure of the items fitting.Service definitely changes once you have an issue.Was told if I picked it up a week later they could have fixed it???Also told if I noticed when I picked it up not after that they could have probably done something.I complained to Freedom Australia who were going to get the store owner to call me to discuss. 3 months later

Great range of homewares staff busy however still acknowledged that we had entered and got to our enquirie asap.

While they have some lovely pieces, we won't be returning customers to this store. Staff promised the world and delivered nothing but bad customer experience and poor attitude. I understand delays due to COVID and Docks etc but zero communication is not okay. I had to call and chase my promised order, only to be told they 'might' be in on 24th December. We actually canceled an order elsewhere because they said they could get the chairs we needed. Lost money on the other order and still no chairs from Freedom.Thank goodness for the amazing service at SelfLess down the road.

Customer service is terrible. Promised the world when we parted with a hefty chunk of a 7k lounge on the deposit. Originally was told that it would be delivered beginning of March. To date……no lounge!!! Any communication we have had to chase up ourselves. They still cannot give an ETA….I would say useless, and will promise the world for the sale but once they have your hard earned, they couldn’t give a rats. Last item I ever buy from them.

I wish to thank the Warrawong Freedom store (managers and sales staff) for their professional handling of my recent purchase. They were very supportive considering the poor response I received from Freedom head office. They refunded me my money and were courteous and considerate. I will certainly go back again.
