Blondes & Brunettes Hair

I went there a month and a half ago for a normal hair trim, it wasnt the best but it was an alright job for $20 and my hair felt great. I went back this week. It was horrible. I had brushed my hair before I went in, I asked the lady for a trim and instead of brushing it and separating the parts, she carelessly tossed and ripped through my long hair with a comb. Lots of my hair was ripped out. She was pulling so hard I was on the verge of tears and I was lifting up out of my seat. It was the most painful haircut I’ve ever experienced. She even insulted me about my hair being “dry and hard to brush”. She then wet my hair and took out the scissors, She didn’t even look at what she was cutting and how she was cutting it. She didn’t check if it was even. She did not listen to me when I said I only wanted the bottom cut as she gave me horribly cut messy layers which is exactly what I told her NOT to do! It ended up completely uneven and choppy. My hair that fell to a straight line on my back was now jagged and uneven. A lot of my hair will now not go into a ponytail. She ended up completely ruining my hair. She didnt show me the back of my hair when she was finished cutting and I was not allowed to leave unless I gave her the $20. And now I’m going to have to chop of a lot of my length. This salon is terrible. Do not go there, they have horrible service and they don’t listen to your needs or care for your wishes!!!

Terrible. Completely butchered my hair. Had asked for balayage. What I received was unacceptable. Brown at the roots, followed by very thick, orange banding, then grey. Not blended at all. The young girl and what I can only assume was the manager said that the banding was normal. Huh? They finally agreed to 'fix' it by dying over the monstrosity.A year has passed since that terrible ordeal, and my hair is still so very damaged even after using salon treatments, it continues to snap.I visited a much better salon yesterday who inspected the damage. Even after a year, they recommended not using any bleach to lighten my hair.I wish that I had read the reviews BEFORE getting my hair done at Blondes and Brunettes. They may be cheap, but the cost associated with fixing the damage is extremely high.

My 1st and ONLY ever visit here as my regular hairdresser was booked out and it was an emergency i get my hair fixed. Walked in bleach blonde wanting chocolate brown. Had the colour sit for almost an hour, washed it, sat in the chair to have it dried part way through I can see in the mirror (approximately 2 inches in length and 3-4 inches in width) a whole section of yellow hair, I left it for a minute to see if she would do/say anything, she failed to do so and moved on to start drying another section of my hair. At this point I ask if she's going to fix that, she then tried to play dumb so I pull forward the section, she claimed she didn't notice and took me back to the sink, then tells me we have no more of that one

WORST HAIRDRESSING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Absolutely appalled and disgusted by the customer service that was shown to my mum. She went in for a colour and cut and was absolutely hacked and given a colour that would make Ronald McDonald cry!!! Even after she specifically told them what colour she wanted They decided a more intense colour would be better. You have no right even if the customer is wrong they are paying and if it turns out bad its on them. My mum was shocked and horrified with the the cut and colour and burst into tears. She asked for her hair to just be dyed back to normal and they said it would be another $85!!! She needed to go to the ladies room as she was there for almost 5hours and was treated like a criminal and told she had to pay first??!! In front of all the other customers in store. She still had colour/dye in her hair!!! Cannot believe they would humiliate and treat another human like this. The manager wouldn't even come and speak to her face to face but completely ignored her. IF YOU WANT A HAIRSTYLE AND COLOUR SIMILAR TO KRUSTY THE CLOWN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.NO experienceNO customer service

Highly recommended!! One of the best salon! Ladies are very caring. They took care of my hair very well. I walked in asking for full head foils. I had a permanent straightening hair 2 years ago and before the ladies did my hair they did a test to see if my hair is strong enough to bleach it. Even if the shop was busy they tried to be on top of the clock so my hair wont get damaged.Such beautiful ladies. See you guys again.

I told the lady who was working on me to only trim my hair about an inch this lady cut my hair off about 5 to 6 inches. I loved my long hair and only went for a trim, she made my hair from long to short in a bink of an eye. Did not even consider what I was asking or saying. I loved my long hair and now thanks to this lady and not listening at all when I was very clear. I hate this place and will never recommend or come here again. Then she had the guts to ask me money for my hair cutting.

Will never ever go there. The blonde lady (so called manager) is absolutely rude, racist and she was rude to my poor 4 years old daughter. I was one of their regular customer and I always get my hair done by a very lovely lady (forgot her name)with red-mahogony hair. She is the only one in the shop who knows how to treat customer and does amazing hair color and cut for me and my sisters. My daughter is very well behaved and super obedient. When I went to the shop with my daughter this time l was told by one of the girl to take a sit on the last chair on my right side, I asked her if my daughter can sit on the chair near me and the girl told me that it is absolutely fine and she can sit on one of the waiting chair near wash basin. The shop was not busy at all but the blonde, arrogant manager told me that my daughter is not allowed to sit down there and she needs to stand at the front. I was so shocked to hear it. I only asked that arrogant manager manager that they should display a sign that kids are not allowed". Such a shame."

if i could give this salon a minus 1 i would. i went to the salon a few days wanted a simple haircut. layers. Went to the counter asked for layers. sat on the chair. AGAIN asked for layers. lady nods looked like from a non english background. This lady cuts straight through my hair. My jaw dropped but because at the moment i was like maybe thats her technique because theres no way i asked for layers and she gives me something else. right? She keeps cutting and at the end i stand up look at my hair. STRAIGHT AF. And i said i asked for layers". she said something that was not english and walked. The lady in the reception also looked but ignored when i looked back to her. She charged me 50 dollars. I went home and cried. will never ever return to this."

I just went in today for a treatment . They saw me straight away and even though they were quite busy my hairdresser was very attentive and talked me through the process.Courtney was amazing, shes polite, friendly and did an amazing job on my hair . And she gave me some helpful tips to handle the problems i have with styling. Would definitely see her again.

Rudest hair dresser I have seen. I went there last week for my preschooler daughters hair cut. She has curly hair and although I shampooed her and combed her hair in a pony tail , she is just a child. We were in the mall and she was in the playing area so her hair were not exactly perfect but the hairdresser insulted me saying do I ever brush her hair ? And she was so loud !! I was literally speechless. Then she started asking me why I don’t condition her hair and that I’m neglecting her!! She was extremely rough with my daughter. I got charged $20 for being insulted and an uneven cut for my daughter . Horrible horrible experience. Do NOT go there!!
