We have done two shoots with Sherman and will definitely have many more! Where do I begin, the quality, service, creativity, absolutely everything was top notch.Our first shoot was for our newborn. Sherman and Jacqui created a suite of photos that were so memorable and of high quality. We had no idea what to expect but the duo just took charge, made us feel comfortable and by the end of it, we were beaming with happiness from the end product!So recently we had them shoot our farewell shoot as we left melbourne for good. While being so busy with packing up and juggling all the emotions, we had no input whatsoever. Sherman and Jacqui did everything. They created a story and directed us through the entire thing. And then we got the finished products before the blink of an eye! It was so quick and my oh my the photos were beautiful!So incredibly pleased with absolutely everything they have to offer. Will definitely be using their services again! Thank you for capturing our memories so beautifully Sherman Tan Studios!!!

While looking for a photographer for our Anniversary shoot in Melbourne, we stumbled upon Sherman’s work on Instagram, and immediately took a liking. He was quick to respond and offered great suggestions. We met Sherman and Jacqui for the first time on the day of our session. In all honesty, we’re both pretty shy when it comes to meeting new people, even more so when having our pictures taken! But the two of them were friendly and forthcoming, which definitely eased our awkwardness. We loved how Sherman provided us with some ‘posing pointers’ at the start of the shoot! We felt comfortable and laidback the entire time, and were just our usual selves. It was a really fun session! Turnaround time for our photos was very quick, and the photos – Just wow! Sherman has an amazing eye for great shots, and our pictures turned out wonderful. We’ve always believed that a photographer should not just take great photos, but be able to convey stories and emotions through his/ her work. Where do I begin! So.. both my husband and I attended his best friend's wedding last September and saw our friends' beautiful pre-wedding photos being displayed in the hall. I remember being fascinated over how natural and real the couples looked in the photos, but didn't think much about it. Pre-wedding shoots were never in our plans as we disliked posing for photos very much haha!Soon after, I found out that the individuals behind those beautiful photos were my childhood friend, Jacqui and her partner, Sherman. We thought they were reasonably priced, and so we engaged them for a casual shoot".Prior to the shoot

Sherman took our baby's First Cake Smash photos! We were initially worried about how it would look like as Sherman is a wedding photographer and that he would struggle to take bubs' photos. Our girl usually would take a while to warm up with people and she doesn't stay still! But Sherman was amazing. He came with basic gears and a bubble machine! Our girl was all smiles and the photos are truly amazing. We took some family shots and they all look so natural. Sherman was exceptionally patience with us and bub especially working around her sleep routine and her mood swings. The problem we now have is choosing photos for printing! So many great shots to choose from. We would definitely have Sherman to capture any special moments we have from here on! Thanks Sherman.

If you're looking for someone that will take the time to understand your needs, concerns or ideas... you came to the right place.Sherman was great that he had such amazing sensibility and point of view, and yet so accommodating -- it allowed us to just relax and have fun because we knew we were in good hands.He goes the extra mile - consulting, suggesting, and researching - which is more than what we expected. The bonus is that he (and Jacqui too) has such a great energy and personality, you'd be crazy to not notice it.

Sherman and his lovely assistant made my partner and I feel so enjoyable to be in front of the camera, and all of our photos turned out absolutely beautiful ! We wanted candid, natural, elegant photos and that is what we got. Sherman also captured all of those little moments that means a lot to us. We really grateful the most about working with him and his team was their passion and dedication on the day !

We had so much fun working with Sherman and Jacqui for our pre-wedding photoshoot. Throughout the whole process we felt so at ease and natural. Sherman was always on the lookout and had such an eye for amazing spots during our session, and, to top it off, your prompts and creative suggestions brought out the best of our expressions, which we love. In the end, Sherman and Jacqui crafted something very unique to us. The photos reflect our story beautifully and they were spot on. Both Sherman and Jacqui's friendly and (very) approachable personality made us feel like we could do the photoshoot all day!
