Fish Chips Bassendean
Nice restaurant area and well spaced out for the small size. Menu is large and they sell several types of fish (whiting, snapper, barramundi few more). Chips were great but the seasoning used was odd and did not suit the fish and chips idea. Should just stick to regular salt for the chips. He snapper I bought was great. Overall happy and will come back when I need fish and chips.

Really happy with my fish and chips here!!! We called pretty late and they were still happy to make dinner for us which was really wonderful of them. There were HEAPS of chips and the seasoning on the grilled fish was the best I have had from a takeaway place. It was all packed up bwatly in foil and little cardboard boxes as well so it all made it home in perfect condition.... Thank you!!

Went on 9th Nov 2021 for the first time after reading other people's reviews. Owner was friendly and chatty maybe because l was the only customer at 5.30pm, ordered a piece of shark, 5 potato cakes and 2 dim sims, owner said it was sourced from shark bay, the meat was reddish in colour so l had commented it wasn't a gummy (being a ex Victorian) as gummy is white.The batter was crunchy, the dim sims weren't battered when deep fried an the potato scallops were commercially sourced not hand cut by the owner. The cost was $19.60 pretty much in line with prices of other fish an chip shops in the Morley area.Overall my experience was pleasant fish was good, when l said l preferred it double dipped the owner said he was happy to do that for me on my next visit.I would be going back in the future.

First and last time visiting today. Ordered and paid $32.50 for 2 snapper, 2 chips, 1 burger, got 1 unknown fish, 1 chips, 1 burger… was very smelly, had to drive home with windows down. A shame really, should of listened to the reviews.Update:After being abused by the owner for the second time, first reply I was called a liar and a goose. The second reply a little kinder, but still accused of lying blatantly, and me stinking not the fish. I realize the attendant did not listen to the order and only gave/charged 1 snapper and 1 chip, rather than 2 of each.However, I will be leaving one star due to the owners appalling response and quality of food, rather than the owner apologizing or offering a refund for serving us the smelly fish, and messing up order, they choose to abuse me their customer. I have not been treated like this before as a customer.

Got chips delivered today. To me they were undercooked unsalted and soggy and just didn’t taste right. Possibly the worst chips I’ve hadReplying to owners comment. I ordered through Menulog so yes was expecting chips to be a little soggy and yes I did ask for salt on the chips. That doesn’t change the fact that the chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil and disgusting!!Also changing my review to 1 star now just because of the rude reply by the owner of this establishment!
