Berowra Waters Holidays

My husband and I recently stayed on the Astoria Houseboat for our one-year wedding anniversary. It was such an incredible experience! The houseboat is perfect for a special getaway - a truly unique way to experience the beautiful hawkesbury. Sue was great to liaise with, we went kayaking right off the houseboat, the kitchen had everything you need to cook and we topped it off with a delicious dinner at Berowra Waters Inn. An unforgettable holiday!

Stunningly beautiful place and only an hour from Sydney. Sue at Berowra Waters Holidays planned our stay from the best holiday accommodation @ Berowra Waters Retreat right down to 'in-house' catering and water transfers. Could not ask for anything else. The equipment provided such as tinny and kayaks were terrific and a great way to explore the river. Thanks Sue!

Just stayed at the newly renovated Hazlett's Hideaway and had an absolutely fantastic time. The house is stunning - beautifully fitted out kitchen, all rooms with stunning views, air con, BBQ - everything was top notch and made our stay so comfortable. Sue (and Bella the dog) was such a terrific host. She made us feel so welcome and gave us lots of local tips and suggestions. We will definitely be back. Thanks Sue for making our stay so memorable. Had a lovely time! Was meant to stay in the houseboat but due to technical issues we were upgraded to the lower deck. Such a lovely experience and Sue and the team really made it special for me, my partner and dog. Highly recommend.

The location was tranquil, peaceful and relaxing. Surprisingly, the houseboat is close to wonderful restaurants and eateries. The sounds of lapping water and nature from the bush surrounds are perfect for unwinding and escaping the business of Sydney. The Astoria is a well appointed (luxury) home afloat and Sue is an exceptional host who leaves no detail to chance. Thank you for a memory we will never forget.Evan and Erica

Situated on the water's edge with breath-taking views, Berowra Waters Boathouse was the perfect setting for our short family holiday.The location was so serene and idyllic, you couldn’t have imagined it was so close to Sydney!It’s right on the water with a fully equipped kitchen and barbeque and the four of us never once felt we were in each other’s pockets with a spacious living room and dining area as well as a wrap around balcony.The location makes the view breathtaking especially in the morning with the sun streaming into the living room.We had such a lovely break here - it is such a beautiful spot, our teenagers loved it and had plenty to occupy themselves with and so did we.The best part and added bonus, was that the accommodation includes access to your own tinny to explore the area - as well as kayaks.We certainly packed a lot into two days; hiking, fishing, kayaking and exploring the waterways in the tinny.Sue is the consummate host/property manager and was extremely helpful andcaring. She met us at the public wharf and ferried us across to the Boathouse and gave us a rundown of the area and all the activities we could get up to. She is very knowledgeable and gave us lots of local tips and pointers. She made everything so easy.It really is a piece of paradise at Berowra Waters Boathouse and was exactly what we needed to get away from it all and chill out within a fabulous setting. You couldn’t ask for more in terms of location and will definitely not regret your stay.

Berowra waters cottage was a fantastic stay, this home is 2 bedroom ( one upstairs with view that is lovely - steep stairs), other still with water views, 1 bathroom, lounge area good size cottage and small dining with windows overlooking the water. It’s perfect for 2 or 4 people quaint little cottage but couldn’t be closer to water, take your Main food but all oil, butter, coffee machine ,salt pepper and continental breaky provided. The place comes with kayak, tinny and SUPs which are great to explore the river . We had such a great weekend and Sue was very helpful with any info. She was so friendly , we really loved this stay for a relaxing getaway and would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at the Treehouse Berowra Waters. Cozy room with stunning views and a great deck to enjoy the fresh air and the waterview. Will definitely be back with the family next time!

Thanks to Sue for our amazing stay at the Treehouse.We enjoyed a lovely 3 night long weekend stay, perfect for a couple. Its secluded location high up in the trees overlooking the river gave us a relaxing and private break. We enjoyed a fantastic mix of walks, boating, restaurants and just enjoying the accomodation. Its private deck made it much more than just a place to sleep. Time spent in the accommodation was a highlight of the trip. We relaxed with a book, watched the possums and bird life or just sat back and watched the hustle and bustle of river life take place below. It was a perfect choice. Walking distance to the marina and ferry made it great for easy access to the outside world.

My partner and I had the best weekend on the Astoria Houseboat. The houseboat is so comfortable and well equipt. Berowra Waters is a little slice of paradise! We also had so much fun exploring and fishing on the tinny that comes with the Astoria. Thanks Sue and Bella!
