Moonah Arts Centre
You can tell things are changing in Glenorchy, just by looking at the MAC. Councils all over Australia are getting into the art gallery scene and the MAC is probably one of the most funky. They always seem to have good exhibitions and the place has a post modern design about it. It really elevates the atmosphere of Moonah and the locals appreciate it. Well done to Glenorchy City Council for building it and providing the ongoing budget to deliver good outcomes both for local artists and the community.

Moonah Arts Centre
Excited to visit here after moving to Hobart. But it was underwhelming, no welcome or offer of information on exhibits. The person behind desk didn’t even look up or say good morning. It’s a great space and I’m sure I’ll keeo visiting. But a hello would of helped.

Lovely place. Went there to performe in a play. The backstage area is comfortable, the foyer is nice, the accoustic is good and the location easy to access

Moonah Arts Centre
Community arts venue. I found it wandering around old Moonah which had gone through a metamorphosis. I hung out there 1960s. Taught there 1980s and this art centre is remarkable. It’s free. It’s warm and the exhibition I saw was fantastic.

Moonah Art Centre is one of my favourite places in the city, The Centre offers multiple uses of the venue to its people. From holding meetings to Art exhibitions and the famous The Moonah Bazaar First Saturday of the Month.The Bazaar offers a platform to small business owners to showcase their work and sell their products.Love the Mozaic work.
