HLB Catering

I have never left a bad review before but I am feeling extremely let down and disappointed by this company. I had booked HLB for our wedding catering. They confirmed our booking prior then after saying we were not doing a desert package they told us they had booked another event and can no longer do our wedding catering, 2 months before the wedding. We had been looking at several companies and found it really hard to get another company so close to the date. When I questioned them about it, I recieved no response from them. It was obvious that because we weren't spending the money they wanted they went and booked another event to make more profit. I thought it was appropriate to let other potential customers aware of thier buisness conduct and etiquette.

I ordered catering from HLB Catering for a work event and the feedback was amazing. People never usually comment on the food at these events but so many staff came up to me to say how delicious it was that I had to leave feedback. Beautiful food, really well priced, and Angela was a delight to deal with. Would definitely use again (and highly recommend).

Extremely well priced for the most incredible food! We had HLB cater our wedding and we would not recommend anyone else. Very communicative - willing to make timing of food service work as best as possible based on their professional opinions. Tasting included with their cocktail packages meant we could easily pick and choose exactly what we wanted without hesitation. We also loved the South American flare that was added to seemingly simple bites - added beautiful flavours and textures. The sliders, in particular, were a huge hit with our guests.We also had HLB cater THE MOST INCREDIBLE dessert grazing table which we got to select 6 desserts for, but HLB included a beautiful array of cheeses, fruit and churros for free. Looked stunning and tasted even better. The biggest hit of the night by far - our guests are still raving on about it!

We had a fantastic experience with HLB Catering! We hired them to cater our wedding at home in Feb 2022, and the whole experience was above and beyond our expectations! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The team were really flexible too, and took our request for fairly late-notice changes in stride! They were a perfect match for our event and we will gladly hire them again for future events!

Leo and his HLB team catered for my Mother’s memorial service on Sat 6/2/21 with a cocktail menu of beautiful presented and delicious platters. The food was special, varied and excellent! I cannot recommend his services highly enough. Professional and generous with his time and expertise as I planned for the day. My guests were very impressed too!

What an amazing experience with HLB catering right from initial contact and on the day of our function. The chef and wait staff were friendly and accommodating. The wait staff were well versed on dietary requirements. The little things make all the difference and the wait staff put aside a plate of food as I was running around organising the event. The food was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and the food was amazing. There was something for everyone. You can see these guys take pride in what the serve.

I just wanted to sincerely thank you Angela and the team for helping myself out the other week for my eleventh hour request to cater our Project welcome lunch. The team were absolutely thrilled with the gourmet lunch and we so so impressed, everything was abundant, fresh and delicious! I had team members comment on how special it made them feel to have such yummy, well presented food provided to them on such a stressful day.
