Sandy Cape Recreation Park
Amazing camping spot, every site being very close to the beach. Lucky enough to have had no wind over the weekend. Water was still warm enough to swim. Don't leave anything out at night as there were a few foxes hanging about the place and one stole my sandal. Always love camping at Sandy Cape

Loved this spot. Here for three days. One was windy in the afternoon/evening, rest of the time was spectacular.

Lovely spot, non powered, short term of 4 days allowed but very reasonable, and easy access to the beach.

Just beautiful, but windy. Unfortunately we had to leave early cause of a thread of fire. But we got informed early and had plenty of time to pack up.

This is a great campsite, only 10kms from Jurien. The main area is set up like a caravan park with lawn, cold showers and flushing toilets.

Great bush-camp 2hrs North of Perth right on the beach. Great for caravans, tents and in-between. Easy 2wd access on hard packed red dirt. Mixture of drop toilets and full flush, showers were out of order with the caretaker saying they have no plans for replacing. Beach or outside shower is available on the centre green. As of April 2023, cost per camp-site $15 a night.Beautiful beach and views. ❤️

Had an absolute ball camping for 2 nights to the north of the main camp ground. No bookings so first in first served. Price is excellent as its a per site cost so can be shared if you want to share your site. Managed to jag a nice big area with a view.Weather was perfect (ANZAC long weekend). Not too many flies, didnt see any mice (heard stories), water was crystal clear and flat.Dump point and bins as you enter/exit the area are good. Will definitely be back.Ranger stopped for a chat, friendly and knowledgable.

Loved this place, its $20 a night with nowater or power. There are running water toilets and a cold shower if you want. They recycle cans and bottles in camp site, but rubbish bins and dump point is 1km near information board on the way in ( which I thought was abit silly, unless you are going to unhitch, you in abit of trouble getting rid of waste). The sunsets were spectacular, the sand is white and water is blue. A photographers dream. The wind blow up abit,( Dec) and the nights were cold. The toilets were clean and new and the caretakers were lovely.

Great place to camp. $20 per night is ok considering the wonderful location, so close to an amazing beach. Wouldn't recommend in peak season, though, would be way too crowded. Many of the sites are not level, so you need to get in early.
