Australian Music Schools - Randwick

My son has been learning with AMS for more than 3 years and it’s fun and educational at the same time! My son is practicing piano proactively everyday now and I know it has a lot to do with AMS teachers and the way they teach! It’s an honour to be with AMS family.

My youngest started at AMS age 3, she's 17 now and absolutely loves AMS. She now plays 4+ instruments & gets so much joy fronting her rock band while they play original compositions. The AMS family have given her these gifts for life, I am eternally grateful. I wish I'd known about AMS when he older brothers were growing up.

My 13 yr old son has learned music with AMS since he was around 4 years old. The music instructors are very supportive. The kids are having fun while learning fundamental music theory without realising it. It is great to see him develop piano and musical skills from his classes over 9 years. I highly recommend this school.

My daughter loves to learn piano at AMS Randwick. The facilities and services are great with affordable tuition fees.

My kids have been with AMS for five years now - my older one started in Year 1 and my younger child started in preschool. The program is fabulous. I'm not sure where they manage to find such a pool of amazing teachers! They have never-ending kindness and patience with the kids matched with a genuine teaching ability - as well as being outstanding musicians. The classes are fun and varied so the kids aren't sitting doing any one task for long enough to get bored, and the annual concert is a real treat. We love AMS!

My daughter (s) have been learning to play the piano since they were little & I have nothing but love & admiration for AMS and what they stand for, teach & build with their students. I’m a fan from day one & I cannot recommend this school enough. A must for any parent who is contemplating sending their kids to learn piano. The lessons are always fun & exciting each week & they always seem to bring something new. A+

We have been on the AMS journey with 2 kids for nearly 10 years. Neither my husband nor I have any music training so can’t make a direct comparison. However we speak to other parents and most importantly go by how much our kids have blossomed and love music. Not only can our kids read and play piano as you would expect. But they learn more broadly to listen to music, compose, play as a group part of an ensemble, performing in front of audiences and to enjoy music. I love the fun way AMS incorporates learning in group games. They can achieve different skills in groups that they can’t get in individual classes. The AMS private lessons on the side helps cement their individual pieces and improves technique. The private and group lessons complement each other really well. Downside is that group class times are restrictive. I would prefer the convenience of private lessons in our house but have forgone that for the greater benefits of AMS. We have all really loved AMS!

After trying a couple of other music schools, my daughters ended up at AMS, and I’m so glad they did. They are gaining an excellent foundation in music theory, proper piano technique, pitch, and rhythm. As well as piano, the classes incorporate percussion, singing, and other instruments in a group setting.The teachers are nothing short of excellent. I have sat in class with my daughter for two years, so I can say for certain that her teacher is straightforward but kind, strict but fair.I’ve enjoyed watching my kids become pianists so much that I now take their adult classes too.

Great atmosphere and learning, the kids love their lessons and I can see them make progress weekly! They adore Ms. Mychelle and it makes such a difference (as in they actually practice without me asking them to :))

My youngest kids started at AMS at the age of 2 and they’re still going 10 years later. The preschool years were precious when i could be with them, part of the learning. Now they keep going because they love it. They work at their level and neither wants to do exams, but AMS provides great support for kids who do.The annual Camp is a highlight.
