Extremely disappointed with this service. Extremely unprofessional in their interactions (with the exception of Penny who was lovely). Marie is unreliable and CEO Mike is not professional. They are one of those money-grabbing services that overcharge participants for services they don't need (eg. charging someone for 1:1 support when they require 1-4 support or less). Avoid like the plague!

I have used several respite care for my severely autistic 16year old son. I have used AAA a few times & each time the experience has been worse than the previous. So expensive for bad customer service. Believe me there is so much better out there. Marie was rude to me and lost my sons belongings. They care more about the money they are due rather than the care they provide I will never use again ever!! Sent my son to school without any lunch. He is non verbal so I got feedback not from them but my sons school teachers & other unrelated care that I use. Did not contact me when they found my sons clothing after 4 months of it being missing. Still have not received property back 6 months now

It’s not often that you find a service provider that cares for your family member in such a way that really do not have a worry in the world. The Team at Assist Ability care for my sisters with the upmost gentleness, understanding and patience while ensuring that they are empowered to be as independent as possible. Lola and the team also offer a holistic not just for my sisters but for our entire family. We couldn’t be more grateful not speak more highly of this tremendous service

Assist Ability Australia is one of the best service providers I have engaged for my daughter. Their service and person centered approach is next to none and their staff are exceptional. We need to remember that these services are designed to assist people with special needs, not to do everything for them. Empowering the client to become more independent while still supporting the family is what they do best. I would not hesitate to recommend Assist Ability Australia and have on several occasions. There are people out there who need to stick to reviewing restaurants.

AAA are not just an exceptional service provider, they are exceptional humans providing the service to the people they support, and their families. From the very beginning, Marie worked patiently with me while I overcame my nervousness at opening the door to support workers for my child. I have been so overwhelmingly happy with the care, support and engagement of the staff, the outcomes for my son, and most of all the connection that this team value with their families. This is a family run business that genuinely seek to understand the needs of their participants, and how to help them build healthy independence. I can not speak highly enough of the whole team, and would recommend them to anyone looking for support work services, school holiday or respite programs or support co-ordination.

From day one Mike & Lola worked with our family with care, flexibility and a genuine interest in our unique situation of raising 4 grandchildren on the spectrum. We have been overwhelmed at your support in finding the right support workers for us. A.A.A. is a disability support service that i would highly recommend. We started with AAA just before covid hit , through these trying & stressful times Mike & Lola were nothing but supportive. A year on and the AAA team including many of the support workers have continued to support my young adult daughter , they have always gone above and beyond to support her and my family. My daughter looks forward to seeing her Support worker and attending activities.... A+ and 5 * for us.

The team at Assist Ability Australia are incredibly accomodating and professional. The services they provide are excellent and they always go above and beyond. I highly recommend them.

The service provided for the children without a doubt is great but when Marie from MELBOURNE thinks it's her job to send invoice reminders to parents or caregivers, not so...especially as we have no.control over monies.
