Took my MBA for a battery replacement. They assured me their batteries met OEM specifications. Replaced battery. After a week, I was back there for them to trouble shoot as to why the new battery was only lasting 2 to 4 hours on idle instead of the standard 8 to 10h. They claimed it was a faulty battery that was installed. They removed and replaced the battery with another. Collected my computer and headed back to NSW. After a few days, battery started lasting 2 to 4 hours again. Nothing they could do about it now apart from suggesting I send them my MBA and be without my laptop for up to 2 weeks which is unrealistic.Took it to Apple and they said the batteries were inferior in quality and that I waste my hundreds of dollars. They replaced the battery with the OEM battery and it has been good as new ever since.Note that Apple also informed me that these guys are not an Apple Authorised repairer. Never again.
