Mövenpick Hotel Hobart

Great location. Walking distance to many tourist attractions. Room is clean and good sized. However our room’s window has no view. It faces the back wall of the next building. I personally finds it amusing but my husband was upset about it as he couldn’t see any view or the sky. Didn’t bother to check with the receptionist as the room is satisfactory and I’d also unpacked. Checked the booking site again and realised the fine print states no view. Overlooked on this as didn’t expect a hotel room would have no view. Definitely something to take note for future hotel booking.Daily complimentary desserts was awesome. Would consider staying here again but will be careful to choose the right room.

Excellent quality hotel at good price. Located in centre of Hobart and minutes walk from all key locations. Rooms fine and clean and well serviced each day. Service from front desk staff was excellent at all times. The in-house restaurant (Tessoro) was also very good when we used for one evening meal

An amazing hotel with a fantastic location. The facilities are so new and trendy, we absolutely loved our stay here.Firstly, location can’t be beaten, right in the middle of the centre, out the door and to your left is the shops, to your right is the harbour. Short walk from anything and everything.Secondly, the facilities, the rooms, the building. It’s all so beautiful. High ceilings, digital ‘do not disturb’, door bells and ‘please make my room”. Spacious bathroom with a rain shower head and hand held shower head. Bright lighting, not like those other hotels with no light or lamps around.Thirdly, impeccable service, check in was super easy. Needed to add a cot and that was done very quickly. They have valet parking, which heaps as there is not any free parking in the city. Chocolate hour between 3:30-4:30, free little chocolate nibbles for guests to enjoy.There was no pool and parking was extra but overall, fantastic, would stay again, great hotel as part of the Accor hotel group.

Rooms were great and spacious, the reception and the staff were lovely and the kitchen had amazing coffee and breakfast. Walking distance to most things in the town. If only the view from my window wasn't a brick wall 1m away, but what to do!Would definitely stay again

Excellent experience here.Service was exceptional, attention to detail did not go unnoticed! I stayed with a friend who is an Accor member and the little touches were great.The bed was very comfortable, hotel room was very clean and a great view. Also an excellent location. Very impressed.

Everything about this place is perfect! Location is fantastic, service and crew are great. The restaurant is amazing. I have all the food allergies in the world and the crew were so supportive and helpful to find me the right food which still tastes and looks amazing.Bedroom is beautifully designed simple but beautiful. Bed and pillows were really comfy. I enjoyed my stay here. Movenpick is now a brand that will look for when I'm travelling

Fantastic luxury experience without the price tag. Breakfast was excellent, more food than we could manage and a good variety. It was also available all day from 8:30am to 4:00pm which meant you could easily use your breakfast as a lunch, which we did one day after going to Salamanca Market for breakfast. The location was fantastic, a short walk to the harbour and main attractions. We had a great view of the bridge and harbour. It was conveniently only 15-20 minutes away from the airport by car.We booked through Qantas Hotels and the package included a Tesoro dining experience which was fantastic but again serving size was very generous and we could not finish everything. Would happily stay again and have been recommending to friends and family. We stayed for 2 nights in November 2022.

Room was lovely, although the standard pillows are rock hard. Definitely use the pillow concierge and get that swapped out! Staff was absolutely phenomenal! Very helpful.Gym stated it was full stocked, it is not... Don't come here if you're hoping to have an actual work out during your stay
