Dinner here tonight was delicious. The waitresses (Ally and Jess) were wonderful, and the desserts that Jess (a qualified Pastry chef) makes are to die for... very moorish and not too sweet. *The 5 stars are for the Bailey's n Mint cheesecake.A great atmosphere!

Went on a drive to a few hotels in the area. Monday told no meals available, we both had a drink flat ginger beer no ice or lime offered beer flat as well. Not a good first impression. Our review was 1 out of 10. Would not recommend on our review sites.

Had a meal there and it was great and full of flavor. Bit slow on getting our meals, 45 minutes and they weren't that busy for a Thursday night. Staff are very friendly and helpful.Would go back again though and would recommend to others.

Lobbed in, ordered the BBQ chicken parmy, got us a beer and got seated. Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Staff were friendly and even had a chat with a local in the toilet,lol.Would go back next time were in the area.

Really lovely staff and service. The size of the food portions were very impressive. Had the Kalbar Burger and some giant parmigiana. Would go back for the food alone.

Unfortunately, the day we attended for lunch, a few items on the menu were not available. It was a hot day & the AC unit was struggling to keep the room cool. The location was great.

The meals here are massive and very tasty. We had steak, brisket and rissoles with mash and veg.The staff had a smile and provided great service.

My first time to Kalbar and the Royal Hotel. My friend and I were served beautifully presented well priced meals not long after ordering by friendly helpful staff. I'm looking forward to having lunch there again soon.

We stopped and had a meal at the hotel. Lovely lovely people and meals and atmosphere. They had a few options for gluten free but were very quick to inform me that the same oil is used for gluten aswell. That was a good save as I can get quite sick.The kids loved the grounds to run around in. We will come again.

Royal Hotel Kalbar
Took the good lady for a country drive on a Wednesday to Kalbar and have lunch at the Royal Hotel. We both decided on steak sandwiches for lunch and they were the best I have ever had, no bull!! Beautifully cooked tasty meat and great bacon, onions and salad too and they were large portions for a big fella. The young ladies provided great service with a smile and a cold beer too.
