Housemade pumpkin soup was epic and one of the best chicken parmis I've ever had... moist, crispy with awesome chips,gravy and salad. Will definitely be back

I stopped into this great little tavern hoping to get lunch and a beer. The Tavern has the potential to be so much more. It deserves better. Some advertising to attract more people and an upgraded menu certainly wouldn't hurt.

Been a local there for over a year. Was told by the lady at the restaurant we did not have to book for dinner on any other night but Thursday. Rocked up at 6pm Friday for dinner and was told no. Empty tables at the bar. She proceeded to say after we told her she was the one that said no need to book that we’re rude and it’s only common courtesy to ring. Will not be back. Shame it wasn’t a bad place to have a drink and feed.

I do not recommend having a wedding reception here!!Had hired the function room for my wedding night/reception. A lot of the food such as steaks, curries and few other items were unavailable to order off their regular menu so was quite disappointing to my guests. We were also told to leave at 8:30pm when we had no knowledge of this. Few people did leave at around 8, although there were few people left happy to carry on with the night. Imagine having to leave so early on your wedding night.On the other hand, bar staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't be more grateful for their hardwork.Just the new owners.

These guys are awesome.From the awesomely original public bar to the very handy bottle shop. The bistro feeds NEVER leave you feeling like could eat something after!!Great bunch and good value!!!
