Michael was so lovely to deal with. The best part he had my job Fu hard in 30 min. This was so great considering I drove all the way from Safety Beach to get it done. Worth the drive and will definitely be coming back for all my repair needs.Thank you Michael for getting my job done so efficiently.

Emailed this store for a quote for luggage repair because mine was damaged in transit by the airline. Was advised could not provide a quote via email would need to see in person. Fair enough. I dive the half hour to the store. They take one look at the wheel that needs repaired. Reasonable quote of $55 verbally. Would not provide a written quote to send to airline unless I paid $35 for the quote itself. Given that I have already advised I would need to quote to send off to the airline this is information they should have provided upfront so that I could make an informed decision prior to wasting me time and energy on traveling to the store.The man who I assume owns and runs the business Micheal said if you called a plumber they would charge you for the quote.I’m sorry but no they don’t. Not anymore. I’ve had lots of works done to my home and have never once been charged for the quote.If the business is run properly you would have a standardised template that you select the service with the pre-filled amount, or write your own in amount and then send. Simple.On top of that the man was rude.This business is just trying to money grab. I would not suggest going here. Unless you are utterly desperate.

These guys were super helpful with fixing my antler suitcase quickly under warranty. I have 8 suitcases (don’t laugh we do) and after arriving into Melbourne with broken handles on one of our bags I couldn’t get antler to respond to any emails, calls or online chats about where to go. I called where I bought the bags (bags to go) and they directed me to walkalong. These guys were super helpful. I had a receipt and they had the bag fixed in one day. Highly recommend.

I recently took some motorbike boots to be resoled to a cobbler close to me, only to be told that they couldn’t be fixed. I wasn’t happy with that and went to Walkalong. Once again Michael has come to the rescue and fixed them. I would highly recommend Michael and Walkalong to anyone that needs boots, suitcases or motorcycle leathers fixed or altered. Sensational service at a reasonable price.

Excellent service and quick turnaround of replacing zip in travel bag.

Antler warranty repair job. Refused to even send the details to Antler for evaluation, as it would be dishonest. Adamant that I caused the damage due to a couple of very small nicks on the handle. Argued about the warranty period (advertised at 10 years), saying that at 5 years old it wasn’t covered. When I came back to pick up the case (with no repair) Michael gave me a lesson about how the date printed on his card said that I’d committed to pick this up a couple of days prior - despite this never being mentioned and a phone conversation a couple of days prior that I would call in a few days later. Just walking into the place you see how much of a mess it is…

Excellent attention, fast work and good quality - recommend this place.Our suitcase got damaged in a recent .flight with Qantas. We did bring it to Walk along and it was fixed in a few minutes.

One of the few places left that can help repair your suitcases, bags, shoes and a variety of leather goods. I got my suitcase fixed in 30 min. So good to not have to throw it away. I wish the guy is a bit more friendly, but he gets the job done so I have no complaints.

Friendly service and was able to accommodate last minute repairs. Advised that my lock broke and was able to repair it on the same day. Reasonable pricing and would revisit for future luggage service/repairs.
