Whitsunday Coast Airport
This airport gets the job done but that is the extent of it. Check in lines are long, security check point is very quick. Clean inside. Very drafty AF and fan system. One cafe/bar. No vending machines or convenience items. Awfully boring if delayed as nowhere to buy a book or magazine (be well prepared as flight delays are common due to most routes being a there and back on the same aircraft from larger Australian cities).

A small airport but so much charm. There was a lovely person singing and playing the ukulele as we arrived. The facilities were all clean and everyone was very welcoming. This aquarium was so gorgeous you couldn't take your eyes off of it.

Clean and well organised. Loads of seating after security, fully stocked cafe/bar, prices on the high side but expected from an airport. Love the fish tank and massage chairs.

Hi , your food hall only accepts cards, As l normally buy my meals at the airport I am in, l expect to be able to use my money. So not very happy, the staff at the check in and security were lovely, and also the car rental were amazing. But the cash issue is a big one for me. All the tours we used, took cash so we had a great time. Please think about your cashless food hall not everyone uses cards. Pam Ford

very fast and efficient. amentities very clean. cafe staff lovely. Only negative price of food. 2 coffees and banana bread $32. but expensive. Airline personnel very helpful.

The airport is easy to get around being a small regional airport. It was clean and organised enabling us to to get in and out quickly.There are a couple of car rental companies on site directly opposite the baggage claim.

A pretty standard and small airport. No hot meals available to purchase (besides instant noodles), and airlines are notorious for delaying flights - so if you like to eat good food make sure to load up before you arrive. If you’re okay with snacks, there’s a great range at the captain and co convenience corner within the terminal.

Whitsunday Coast Airport
Whitsundays airport is a small and basic airport. There's one security gate and baggage carousel. There's limited restrooms inside the airport but a few more temporary ones set up outside. Lots of construction going on but the place was clean overall. There's lots of counters to hire cars, book transfers or tours. There's a couple of small but pricey shops for snacks and an ATM just before you exit the airport.

Fast , efficient check in . Security was also the same. Plenty of different seating options from soft seats, large chairs. A cafe with a bar complements the smallish lounge.
