Food was amazing, I had pork belly bowl, I have to say I was really impressed by how well this dish was done, pork belly cooked to perfection with crispy skin, brown rice was just beautifully done, not sure how they cooked it, the rice was soft and had a layer of crunchiness with it, as an Asian I rarely tasted riced cooked to this leveleven in Asian countries. Definitely recommend!

Lovely staff, an original menu that is hearty and not over-complicated.We had breakfast here three mornings in a row while staying in Hobart. The staff are lovely, the food is delicious and original.Highly recommend! Can get busy, so book in advance for bigger groups!

What a yummy meal! Can highly recommend for a casual meal out that’s not too expensive and not to fancy! The garlic mushroom omelette was soooooo delicious and so was the crumpets! The Staffa are really friendly and relaxed! They do get very busy so if your planning on heading here with more than just 2 I would book!Thanks team at Ginger Brown for an excellent experience

a tourist in Hobart. went there for lunchI got the house beans ( pic below) the portions was absolutely amazing & the textures were amazing...was nutty & veggies with 2 nice slices of bread & traditional beans.ordered a flat white too it was good strong.service is very fast & staff are friendly

The usual brunch style menu… nice atmosphere and prompt service… bread a bit tough for my taste but overall not a bad experience.. I won’t be rushing back tho’ not much to differentiate it from any other cafe TBH …but seems to have a few locals who are regulars

We enjoyed our brunch here - special call out for the belly pork burger which was super tasty and juicy. The place was crowded on Tuesday morning but the turnover was fast and we didn’t have to wait long for our table. Would recommend!

Recently organised a big group to brunch here of 20 people. The entire group of staff were so helpful and accommodating and worked so hard with me to make it possible and a pleasant experience. Somehow we had our big long table in a small place but then plenty more space for others and it worked. Food pretty darn good too.
