Because I know the owner, I drop in when passing. Sue is always very welcoming and keen to feed her patrons. Although limited opening days, the Inn caters for B & B, as well as light lunches, tea and coffee etc. The St Andrews is the last working Inn and full of history. Phone ahead to make sure Sue knows you want a meal and/or a bed.

This place is a gem. Absolutely lovely and very reasonably priced. Comfy accommodation, great food and warm hostess. I do hope inns around the country to be ran at this standard!

Lovely clean and comfortable old building. Generous and interesting hosts. We were welcomed with hot drinks and made feel very welcome. The beds and linen were extremely comfortable.

Wonderful experience staying at St Andrews Inn. The hostess is beyond friendly and makes us truly feel home and welcomed. The room sees some history (built in 1845!), nevertheless very clean and comfy. We brought our puppy with us and the owner kindly provided us with some puppy pads for free.It's not a true B&B experience without breakfast, and St Andrews Inn didn't fail. The full English breakfast is delicious and hearty and what's more presented great value for travellers.Staying at St Andrews Inn is very different and IMHO much better and more interesting experience to staying at a hotel, so I would definitely recommend it to people visiting Tassie.

We had a lovely stay at this homey, historic country inn with very friendly and welcoming hosts! True country hospitality including fresh picked flowers in the room and a great home cooked dinner and breakfast, going the extra mile to accommodate for our dietary requirements - much appreciated and would certainly stay again.
