Love this shop! The staff have always been very friendly and helpful, even when I obnoxiously pointed out a minor mishap with an unwell fish. These things happen, and they were quick to correct the situation. The delivery option is such a nice back up for days when I can’t quite get to the shop - generally delivered in a day or two, but the aquatic setup is worth the trip to admire!

Looked like they would normally offer a great range. Unfortunately when we went alot was out of stock( but that was like that a few around our area on that day). Staff are friendly, happy to help out with information or taking your things to the car.

Thank you for helping myself and my son who became quite unwell instore over the weekend. The team member on counter was extremely understanding and offered more help then I expected to ensure we could get home quickly and took care of all of the mess. I bought 2 female mice on January 8 and a few weeks later they are crawling with mites! A visit to an exotic pet vet and $160 later, I’m told that they have bird mites. I do not own birds or have contact with birds. The vet told me that it is likely due to cross contamination, where a staff member has handled a bird and then picked up a mouse without washing their hands in between. I have owned mice for nearly 20 years and have NEVER seen them get mites. I will now have to medicate my mice, sanitise everything and clean their cage/toys daily for up to 6 weeks to get rid of the mites.

I went in with my puppy back in November to socialise her and look at the products. While I was looking at the small animals I noticed a Guinea pig not moving, even when I tapped on the glass. This was very odd as Guinea pigs tend to be skittish animals. I informed the young female staff and they were horrified- the Guinea pig was in fact dead. And it must have been sitting there some time as the body was stiff as they picked it up and they took it out the back.

Honestly one of the best pet shops I have ever seen. It has a selection of mice, guinea pigs, some birds, some lizards, scorpions, frogs, turtles, lots of snakes and a nice selection of fish. The display Cichlid display is perfection. And all the other enclosures are well kept and clean. Great selection of tanks and enclosures to choose from. Definitely the place to go if you don't won't the ordinary pet.

The service at the North Lakes store has always been great. I have purchased goods by walking in and online (for pickup). They gave me great advice on suitable dog food for my husky because she is a fussy eater. We are fairly new customers but will grow to be long term. Thank you.
