Bakehouse Cafe (Green Point Shopping Village)

Ordered a coffee this morning. Sat down outside and took a sip. Scalded my mouth. Coffee way too hot.Sat for a while and couldn’t drink it for about 10 minutes. Went to leave and gestured through the window goodbye and the manager came out and abused me saying I had told her younger workers to hurry up. I did no such thing. She seemed very annoyed throughout the whole interaction. Very unprofessional and extremely aggressive. Very short with the young girls working there too. I was with 5 others and none of us will ever go back there.Very bad for the bake house chain of cafes.

So I've been using the loyalty card and buying a medium Mocha every couple of days and your 10th coffee is supposed to be free. I got to my 10th stamp today and the guy says it's not free it will be 50c extra for a medium. I said a small will be fine and he said it will be 50c regardless as you have to pay for the Mocha, I said even though I earned the ten stamps buying Mochas " and he said yes sorry. will find another coffee shop"

Great food and coffee. Love the milkshakes, the scones and the sandwiches. Very friendly staff

Every now & then I've bought things from your store, they are nice but a bit expensive especially considering they all get made in one place & delivered around to all your other shops? Anyway yesterday I made the decision to support local & pay the price of your bread $4.20 for a white loaf, yes it was fresh & tasty & hopefully made with good ingredients so it stays nice for couple of days(not like cheap supermarket bread) Anyway I paid your big asking price but am quite disgusted with the whole Bakehouse Cafe Business that you actually have a surcharge added on as well when I used my card??? I know that's not illegal, but it is illegal not to be transparent about it & I didn't see any signs up or get told about it???Also the charge is not supposed to be more than the bank charges you & from my understanding Visa debit charges are 1% charges to you but you added a 7cent charge on my card which seems more than 1%....Great little side money earner for Bakehouse cafe I'm thinking with all your shops & all your customers? Maybe you should fix this before you get investigated???

Went for breakfast and NEVER AGAIN IT WAS JUST ALL KIND OF NO I ordered a half strength sm cino and got a med 1 when I took it back the girl with long blondish hair tell me oh don't worry it's the same well I can tell u it is not then when my beacon and egg I felt sick the sandwich was an open sandwich and the egg was white black and yellow and black crunchy bits and the oil on the egg was just sitting in a pool on top of egg and I could not eat it as it was fowel u could taste last week's food on it thay need to give cooker a full scrub and clean it after every use ill will not be back as food poisoning is waiting to happen so some poor victim you have been warned thay gave me back 11.20 but even the white flat coffee thay could not get that right

Good snack if you live local. Anyway, be careful with the manager, she can become very aggressive and resist if you decide to change your order or ask for a little more sugar in your coffee (as I prefer).

STALE CAKES OVERPRICED MENUNothing good to say about the chain of Bakehouse cafes.Charged to use Etpos way over the fees imposed by banks.Stale dry cakes that sit in the cabinets for weeks just look in the window when their closed, cabinets are full of stale products sold as fresh to the unsuspecting customers. Pies are poor quality sausage rolls are greasy and tasteless, bread is dry and flavourless, everything is extremely overpriced from the wraps through to a bacon and egg roll. Coffees are poorly made by inexperienced staff who seem to lack any real training or supervision. A chain of cafes that operate on the central coast with no regards for the community they serve. Avoid at all costs !!!

Sunday 26th June around 9:45am. The two girls that were working got slammed with customers and were doing their absolute best despite a few rude customers being unreasonable. They did really well under the pressure for only two people working on a bush Sunday morning.

Walked in at the end of the day (all the chairs were put away) and Courtney was more than happy to make my wife and I an amazing hot chocolate with marshmallows. Her service literally made our day, not to mention the drinks were delicious. Also recommend the vanilla slice.
