Kimba Gateway Hotel
This place is absolutely awesome. The staff were super friendly and efficient. The meals were excellent, the beers were super cold. A bit of a hidden gem in the bush. Highly recommend eating here if in the area.

Kimba Gateway Hotel
Came for dinner, and it was very busy. Just beat a fellow to a table and invited him to join us. He did. Very enjoyable conversation. Food was pub food, nice. Beer was cold and very enjoyable.

Don’t usually do reviews but the food we got take away was just that good! If anyone is ever driving through Kimba do yourself a favour and get yourself a bacon cheeseburger hands down one of the best burger I have ever had! Also great friendly service and has a good vibe overall!

Lovely accommodation after a long days driving. The room was clean enough for a country pub, could do with a deep clean to get into corners etc, but a good standard that one would expect in a country stopover town. The bed was beautifully comfortable and clean. Nice touch with a little cereal, milk, juice box and piece of fruit for breakfast. We arrived at 9pm, so didn’t eat in the pub but it looked lovely inside. The lady who checked us in was really helpful, welcoming and kind, as we booked only a couple hours before we arrived. Would highly recommend for a peaceful rest on your travels. Aircon was great too. Thank you so much. We’ll definitely stop again in the future.

Always our favorite place to stop off at on a road trip.Rooms basic but clean .Staff amazing , food great .You can only sit for a few minutes and locals become friends.Highly recommend.Coming from Adelaide we will travel that bit extra to see these guys and friendly locals ..rather than stop in Port Augusta

Loved this place.. After a long day of driving I needed a good meal a hot shower and a comfy bed and I got all three in spades. I tend to go to my old fav chicken parmi when I eat at a new pub and this one didn't disappointment. Thick succulent piece of chicken with a scrumptious topping. Well worth the drive. I had a side of onion rings to go with it and they were just as impressive. The room was in the period of the hotel which is what you'd expect. It was large and homely and the best part was the bed was amazingly comfy. I slept like a baby... I highly recommend staying at the Kimba Gateway Hotel..

Stayed for one night in the old post office room. Truly an enjoyable experience, beds were comfy & shower worked well with lovely hot water.Only issues were 1) there was no hair dryer provided 2)room heater was so noisy.As for the restaurant, checked it out since reviews were positive. Dinner did not meet expectations, ordered the potter hse steak & it was slightly burnt & bitter. Struggled to finish. Though the Greek salad was acceptable.Overall ok for a small town motel.

This is a great country pub with great food, portions and variety. The service was a stand out especially from the young lad bringing our food out and collecting the dishes...so polite.

Kimba Gateway Hotel
It is a beautiful little town with bursting public pride and wonderful people.Vicki and the team at the hotel are the loveliest people. Good meals, great rooms, and exceptional service.
