Absolutely horrible unprofessional service never have I ever had a animal shelter or any animal carer try to hang up on me and only stop when I say that is unprofessional to be so rude and disgusting towards someone inquiring about a pet the lady that is working there answering the phones needs to be dismissed immediately saying she will not give anyone a chance that do not own their own home very unprofessional and discriminating behavior I will b e going further with this

What a great place, giving abandoned and surrendered cats and dogs a second chance in life. To find their forever home. They run solely on the generosity of the community close and far. Please consider them when you are looking for a cat or dog. Please donate or even volunteer. This place is amazing and has saved thousands of animals over the years. And hope to save thousands more in the future.

Was not clean and did not feel safe for the dogs.The attitude of the owner was very hostile and poor

Two elderly ladys out the front were extremely nice and very friendly.Once inside i was appalled at the state of the shelter.Some people were incredibly rude.And when we had found a dog we really bonded with we were told every excuse under the sun of why we couldn't adopt a beautiful dog.Overall very negative experience overall..

My rescue from Hagndorf interim kennels is BABE aka KEELA she is nearly 12 now and guards me with her life. Was very much in attacking mode when I got her.thry told me she had been found under a BlackBerry Bush.ver withdrawn and frightened they did a very good job with her and I continuedtiedShe doesn't like children. I never let her run loose as she has a tenancy to run 9ff.a breede4 saw her and said she was a very rare breed.a splash cured si berian huskYThey are bred at Elizabeth.saYused o e the years I take her everywhere with me.

When I picked up my dog from here he was extremely distraught and completely freaking out tail between his leg and eyes darting around everywhere.Not to mention that they had organised to rehome him without even looking for his owner he was two houses down from where he lived when he was found because the cheeky boy got out the open gate when the garden was being maintained .The facility was an utter mess and I was concerned that he hadn't even been fed as they had Expressed so much that they fed him so much food but he ate more food when I got him home then I have ever seen him eat in one sitting in his life.And to think I wanted to give my time to volunteer here.

Great place to get a puppy or to adopt an older dog. Animals are well taken care of. If my husband let me I would have taken them all. But we only came away with one. Friendly staff and volunteers. Highly recommend getting your next or first pup from them.

Wouldn't answer phone when numerous cars in yard - access only for employees and council. Wouldn't return call for recorded message. Can't leave strays if no access/response

Fantastic caring staff and volunteers. I'm very happy to leave our pooch here knowing he's well looked after
