Traralgon veterinary centre has been incredibly helpful for our cat on the many many visits she has had over the past year.At one point out cat needed specialist care and they provided a referral for us, a lifesaver really.Reading over previous reviews complain about price, I think this vet is a fair price and that it’s worth it.It’s never cheap to take your pet to the vet, anywhere you go.

Update!!!Now they refuse to let my mother be a client because I called them out on the overcharging. How petty can this place get that they refuse my mother who has been a client for 3 years and spend a far amount of money there. This place is purely disgusting for how they treat people. What a sad place to work.Don’t even bother your just giving the owner more money for his porsches. My dog had an ucler on his eye. Last time it cost me less than $120 to come and get the cream and have it checked this time they blind side me with $237 and I saw on the computer when I was in the room it was $135. So clearly $102 market for pure profit. The owner must love just taking people hard earned money to make sure there pets are looked after. Go elsewhere. This place has become one man’s greed to buy a porsche!

I have a rescue who had been seen by this vet when she was in foster care so have continued to see them as I’d not used a vet in Traralgon previously. I’m always impressed with their punctuality & kindness towards me and my cat. Maddie is the vet I have mostly seen who has always been fantastic, but I did speak to Lauren (I think her name was!) on the phone when I was seeking advice for after hours care for my cat and she was absolutely incredible when I was very anxious and worried.

TVC provided good initial care and the vet was empathetic, I was able to get follow up pain relief (for palliative care) when I needed it.However the reception staff could do with some empathy training. When the time came I had my boy PTS at home and I called to arrange to bring him in after for cremation. While on the call, the staff member first called my boy 'she' and then 'it'.On the day I bought him in, one staff member grabbed box off me without so much as a word, while the other took payment. Not a word of kindness, it was just a business transaction. This was my beloved family member and I found the experience very cold and unsupportive.

Ive been attending this clinic with all my animals for more years than I care to remember, Ive used Plozza's since the original building, but today after finding out that they wouldnt write scripts (mind you I am changed 35.00 per script) but today I take my cat in and find that they have decided to change policy and not provide scripts. These scripts allow me to get cheaper medications than what the clinic can offer me. I pay somewhere around 20.00 per script from pharmacy, and the same medication at Vets is around 75.00 roughly. Now I am closing in on pensionable age, and just wondering how in heck we will be able to keep our Pets when its a choice between keeping our Pet Healthy or letting them die. Really its holding us to ransom, changing policies without advising clients that are most affected by the service. Sadly I regret to say I am disappointed with the disservice of Traralgon Veterinary Centre.

So disappointed with the service in this place. My mother was charged $300 per xray , which she had to pre pay. $1200 for her dog to stay over night and have her euthanised. Had to carry her to the car. Not one person helped .Over charged and no empathy.Do not use them

Great vets, but they can never find our file as they keep spelling our name wrong, or 'correcting it' thinking it is an error. But generally the staff are friendly and helpful.

We unfortunately had to have one of our family dogs put down a few weeks ago and the team were compassionate and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our beloved pet. Thank you for making a terrible time just that little bit better
