If you are a tradesmanDo not work for the property managementIt’s a shame because I worked for them for a long timeI sent an invoice in mid December with a 7 day payment term (flexible by a week or soThe invoice was paid on 6/2/23 and I clearly state late fees for late paymentsI emailed them several times asking when it will be paid and they never got back to meThen they finally said it will be paid but way overdueThen I sent a late fee because they wasted my time as a small businessThey refuse to pay the late fee because they were disorganised to contact the owner to pay in a timely mannerI will never work for them again and be weary if you are a tradesman!They responded just now with making my invoice a priority which is falseI asked many times for them to show when the owner was contacted to show they were proactive in getting my invoice paid, but they never provided this because they asked the owner to pay way after the invoice was overdueDon’t trust them

Alex was our property manager, and she has been very responsive and understanding during our tenancy, a rarity with Sydney property managers. When we had any issues, she was kind and professional whilst liaising with us and the landlord. She kept us abreast of updates and handled things so any repairs or concerns were addressed professionally. As someone who has lived in New York City, London, and Sydney (with a dozen moves in between), we find Alex at Laing Simmons to have been one of the best property managers we have had the pleasure of working with during our rentals.

Do Not use Laing Simmonds Double Bay. I dealt with Penny and our apartment had smashed glass in there when we moved in. The garage door was broken and they couldn’t give as a rent reduction while we couldn’t use the garage. They are withholding our $3000 bond and trying to say the apartment was damaged when it was in the same condition we moved in. They do not answer our calls and are very unprofessional. We will be taking legal action.
