Zero-Point-Five Star Experience. Staff members lock existing students out of most ICT/Engineering computer labs during break due to costs reduction and profits thirst - never seen other public universities doing the same. Customer services from any available sources are non-existent. It seems to me that the receptionist is either inexperienced or having real bad attitudes for even standard admin tasks.Citing two experiences,1/ THE most PROFESSIONAL promise: Will get back to you today

This review is directed at/to the nursing faculty of UTAS. The Post-graduate certificate in critical care nursing is in one word appalling. The course structure and content is very basic. Resources are pilfered from other courses (lectures) and majority of instructional videos are from YouTube. Mylo difficult to navigate and disorganised. I must say I did learn a lot but what I learnt was through self-directed study. If you just want the certificate and don’t care what you learn this is the course for you.

If you're thinking of studying here, DON'T. UTAS is in catastrophic decline. After 3years getting qual's, it was a comedy of errors on their behalf, to the point I just accepted it as the norm and stopped complaining. Full-time job lined up, but due to UTAS constant misinformation and mishandling, I won't be graduating. Student services & support non-existent, lip-service at best. Staff don't care and will throw you under the bus to save their precarious jobs. UTAS is jettisoning courses because it is sinking, and after 3 years studying there IT REALLY SHOWS!!! You can get a degree from many other Uni's in Tasmania that operate here. DO THAT. DO NOT ENROL here. This has to be one of the worst uni's in Australia. Don't whether to laugh or cry. Seriously, anything UTAS has on offer is offered elsewhere, with better student support and just basic management. The fact they are going 100% online" on their very clunky

My biggest regret is wasting my 4 years at this institution, incompetent staff with personal agendas and very fragile egos to match. Don't waste your time, look for a better institution.
