This would have to be the first Tuesday that the food portions haven’t been stingy or sad looking. Tonight‘s meals were hot, fresh and tasty. Normally at least for Tuesdays, the salads are very sad, wilted and portion sizes are for children. also then slapped with a bill over $60, which pancake parlour has always been overpriced so three stars is very generous. This particular pancake parlour, could certainly learnt a lot from the Doncaster one. All the front of house staff are always friendly and happy so that’s at least a positive.

Never any issues with pancake parlour. Food is always out quickly. Kids love it. Adults love it. Everyone loves it. Always do appreciate the pencils and colouring for the kids as it’s always a perfect amount of distraction for them to sit still until their “dinner” arrives.

Service was a little slow and had to chase our drinks. But still a good atmosphere. Unicorn shake is amazing.

The Bavarian Apple was great, highly recommended. However, the Pancake Lasagne was okay, but if you're going for a more savoury option, I would choose the bacon and eggs or the cheese and potato pancake they are way better in my opinion or just grab the deluxe fries aka loaded wedges. You also can't go wrong with the malted shakes they are amazing. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We went at around 7ish on a Tuesday night, and approximately every second table was full, but despite that, it was quite enough to easily have conversations. Great atmosphere.

Service was less than great. Was meeting a friend for lunch, but they were running late. Was sitting in a booth for over an hour, and in that time not one server asked if i wanted to order, when i asked at the till if i could order was told someone would come over to my table and take my order. No one came.When my friend arrived we were served rather quickly and well. It wasn't even busy, just poor customer service.

2/3/23 - I got a response from the owner asking to provide more details in the contact us page but after providing as requested absolutely no response or action from the owner or the restaurant. Then I went had a look at all other reviews which had 1 star and they all got simulate responses to me. So wondering what’s the purpose of asking to do something but then no action from there.The customer service was terrible on Saturday 25th February. We were seated towards the end closer to the party room and there was no one coming to our table to take orders. When I was heading to the front counter to order I saw the guy taking orders in another table. Why indifference towards us? Is it because we are not the locals. This is what frustrates me the most, discrimination. What’s the point if the food is good and we get such a treatment. Am sorry to say I would consider this as discrimination. Even when I went to pay at the end the other lady at the counter was also hopeless. She just mentioned the bill amount and did not even care in asking how the food was etc. I never expected such a treatment from this place.

I dined in just to have a coffee (no food) with my partner when the restaurant wasn't busy. The waitress said kindly that we can order via the QR code OR through her and we said we will use the QR code. We ordered one small coffee and one large mug of coffee. The order went through, payment was made and I got my receipt via email. After we waited about 30-40 minutes and watched more people come in and get served meals straight away we thought we should ask a waiter about our two coffees that still hadn't arrived. He apologised and let us know that online orders aren't working / there are problems with it. We understood it was out of their control but thought it was strange that nobody came to let us know this until we waited a long time and then chose to ask someone ourselves. He was nice and went to check/fix our order and put it through again for us. When our coffees finally came, we received two small coffees but I paid for one large and one small. My partner told them that one was supposed to be large and then we waited again. Afterwards, we were finally served the correct order. I feel that if there was better communication between the staff members about the issue that was happening with the codes, and better communication between the staff and their customers, we wouldn't have had to wait so long with no idea what was happening, someone might have let us know that the code is playing up and we would have happily ordered through a waitress/waiter. If my payment didn't go through via the code already then we probably would have gone somewhere else because our order was very small and not worth the wait/fuss imo.
