Mount Majura Vineyard

we visited during easter holidays without a booking so couldn't do the tasting but tried their few reds and whites. Their signature Tempranillo by the glass which blew my mind! Must visit if you like wine and visiting Canberra. make reservation in advance. We'd go again

What an amazing place for a Saturday afternoon casual tasting. We had the flight with the cheese plate and fell in. Love with the wines. Very knowledgeable pouring staff. We asked lots of questions and had a great time. Took a bottle home with us as well. Be sure to book a table if you go and ask for one outside under the cover. It’s well worth the trip.

When we got there they were all booked out for wine tasting but there was seating on the verandah with a cool breeze and we had four different glasses of wine and a cheese platter. The chap gave us descriptions of the wines so it was like our own private wine tasting. A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon!

Some great selections of wine, lovely venue and very friendly and helpful staff. It was very busy when we went, but they still found a table for us outside undercover. The food looked delicious too and you can order all of their wines online afterwards if needed!

Their wines are exquisite! Clearly, I wasn’t able to take photos of my wine tasting as I was having a great time. Kudos to the lady that were explaining every wines that were poured. Very well executed. I enjoyed every sip of it. Thank you!

Disappointed with the cheese platter. Literally one slice of salame, one small thin slice of brie and another slice of thin hard cheese with 3 crackers. I think if you include a cheese platter in the wine tasting make it worth it. We felt it was a joke. Either include a decent one or do not include it and offer it for an extra $.

Highly recommended. They have a lot of european grapes and making great and unique wines!

After a visit to Mt Majura Truffle farm, we engaged in a wine tasting close by at Mt Majura Winery just outside the city of Canberra. Producing high quality light wines with shiraz and riesling being their most popular. Their cellar door is open for tastings, though due to COVID restrictions, you must book ahead of time. The tastings are pretty reasonable for $15, and you try 12 wines and it includes your choice of cheese, charcuterie or vegan plate. We spent a lovely afternoon here, for the staff were happy and helpful and the food and drinks were great. It was a good visit for the end of our trip.

Visited here 10 am on Friday, and could enjoy the place privately. Wine tasting with 20 bucks includes 11 wines with a small cheese plate. It really worth for the money. Grape varieties from Spain was so nice. There is an advanced wine tasting with 40 bucks, however, this is available only on the weekend.
