I was reassured multiple times on the phone that they would both connect the new services and disconnect the old services. They DID NOT disconnect the old services and I was charged over $400 for services I did not use. Use them for connection but NOT disconnection. Do this yourself if you want it done!

What a mess these people have left me with to clean up!Hooking up wrong houses, telling me applications are denied but aren't so then using different electricity companies only to find the first one was not denied but the neighbour is now getting supplied by me.All this after spending 3 phone calls checking they had the right address. Now I am recieving emails from all three companies, one of which had to be put in my wife's name, telling me I will be billed soon.Every time I call to fix this these people always make it worse.Response to Your Porter reply: A very crafty reply on your end but my wife as my witness can confirm that I contacted you with concerns you were about to connect the wrong house of the two houses you have mentioned and twice you called me back to confirm that me fears were unfounded as the address for connection was correct. I am disgusted you have attempted to manipulate the narrative against me here rather than owning your mistakes.Rest assured this will be followed up on and dealt with.

If I could have rated 0 I would have.I was first incentivised to use yourporter’s services via the REA of the rental I was moving into, to receive an Uber eats gift card which would have been very useful when moving into a new place.First issue: the yourporter website did not surface my preferred provider so I did some googling, to find out their rates were less expensive than the options on the yourporter website (assuming a kickback from preferred providers which enables the “free” service).Second issue: I called to check and have an order submitted via yourporter with my preferred provider, and was advised at the end of the call that the gift card was for online users only, making going through them redundant as I had already done my own research.Third (and fourth and fifth) issue: As it turns out, I had problems with all 3 of the services I tried to connect via yourporter. I placed the requests weeks in advance of moving in, only to be advised on the day of and days following moving in (up to a week later) that there were issues with the orders, requiring me to call the provider and sit through the IVR, on hold, multiple authentications with multiple departments and a re-recording of the Ts&Cs.Overall, yourporter was a complete waste of time. Will never use again and will be advising my REA of the subpar experience.

One of the worst service I came across in Australia. Please don’t trust these guys if you go on your own for the connections you will have a better service from the energy providers and get things done quickly.

I did not consent to yourporter contacting me - they did anyway. Then they connected my water without consent and for the incorrect move in day.They relentlessly rang me 2-3 times per day until I answered and I said I would contact them myself if I needed help. They still continued to call to check in. I replied 'stop' and finally the calls and messages stopped. However, a month after no calls and I have sinced moved in they are spamming me again. Exrtremely frustrating. They should just trust people to return a phone call (if they want to) or call them if they need something. It is harrassment at this point.Also you can find much cheaper options than they offer online.

Not worth even 1 starGot a disconnection notice months after using your Porter.The gas retailer said our gas was never connected. We then called your Porter and they stated that the gas never ended up getting connected because there were issues with the meter number/lot number however they never told us. We then requested them to send what they had on file and also a formal complaints process. They have not even done this. Getting electricity connected with them was a nightmare and I should’ve known not to even bother going ahead with them.

Use this company at your peril. This is a company whose sole existence is to provide a streamlined customer service,yet they couldn’t care less about their customers. They are the WORST company I have ever dealt with. They did not do their job properly as a result, my gas was almost disconnected. It has taken 5 months for them to connect my gas to my preferred supplier. Their communication is appalling. TRUST ME - DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! You will regret it, I guarantee.

to a newly build granny flat and need the new connection.I spoke with David on the phone and he was very helpful. He tried his best to get me connect to electricity and Internet. It was a bit hard to find granny flat address in the system but David was great.

A good Aussie firm with a call centre in Melbourne and staff that want to make the connection process as easy as possible. I was surprised that Energy Locals wasn't on the list of retailers.
