My review is only based on my personal experience.I had endoscopy procedures done in the hospital today. The whole experience is positive. I waited 2 hours in waiting room. Doctors and nursing team are friendly and respectful. I highly appreciate their professionalism. I have done the same procedures at private hospitals in the past and I would say there is absolutely no difference.I will choose this hospital again next time.By the way there are plenty of free parking.

Don't even bother going to this dump if your dying. It's nothing more than a transfer station to dump your problems onto another hospital. The local gp has a much better service than this dump of a hospital. Rude stuff that would rather talk to each other about there weekend than help there patents avoid

Attended here in December as couldn't keep any food or drink in. Extremely fatigued and was aching all over. All they did was a urine sample and a feel of my stomach. Dr told me I'm fine and go out and enjoy myself. I looked at him dumbfounded and he said to me what would you like me to do? I said to him, maybe I should go to the northern. His response was yes you can do that, but you won't be a priority and will be sitting in a waiting room full of covid patients. Had to go there the next day as was worse. Was seen within the hour, had blood tests and other tests done, had a diagnosis and put straight onto medication and was better within a week.Wrote in to the kilmore hospital regarding this and received a letter indicating they did all they could and said nothing about this drs behaviour/attitude. First and last time ever attending this so called hospital.

Kilmore Hospital is one of the best hospitals I have ever been to.It was my first time going there and I had such a lovely experience.I went in to the urgent care unit as I had a insect bite and had very bad swelling on my arm. They had to call in a doctor as there wasn't one there at the moment but that was understandable as they were not busy as I was the only one in emergency. The doctor came in 30 minutes which was fine as I only had slight pain.Doctor Lawson and Nurse Emily were very friendly and professional. Both admin ladies were lovely too. I also noticed that the hospital was very clean and well presented.Such a lovely hospital, we are so lucky that we have a hospital close by that isn't busy.If I went to Epping I'm sure I would have been waiting for hours just to be seen as my situation wasn't urgent.Thank you staff at Kilmore Hospital ❤

Absolutely useless. Took a friend who had cut their finger open on a can and after sitting there watching others go ahead my friend left. They said it was triage but no one looked to see how bad it was At least they should have someone to give a tetanus shot.Disgusting service well actually NO service. If I could give a zero I would.

Terrible support from this hospital. First started with a nurse treating us like we were infected(Claire) talking whilst chewing gum behind her mask is incredibly unprofessional. (When we only went to get a cut stitched up.) then watched as other people who accompanied their relations were allowed into with the patient and the old nurse who didn’t get off her chair to save her life fought with us on how partners could not stay with their spouse as they could hardly walk. (Whilst the staff watched as they limped in and did nothing.) absolutely disgusting help from this hospital and can’t believe this has happened in a country town. I hope the power trip nurse (Nicky) gets pulled up on her attitude and deals with people in a polite manner.Given excuses as to why partners couldn’t stay.Never again and very unfortunate to have this experience here.Only to then find out once my partner got out that he was greeted with the same attitude by Nicky. Please Kilmore Hospital, evaluate staff performance. Her dealing with patients is not acceptable by any standards.

Came in for a small procedure under anesthesia, they injected me a total of 5 times due to it being incorrectly placed.Mind you I told them which side of my arms has more prevalent veins but she completely ignored me and didn't care to look so continued to inject the same arm (elbow crease & hand vains)The nurse that did this surgery for me told me she would be right there when I woke up but she was no where to be found.Upon going into surgery I was trying to tell them that the needle in my hand for the anesthesia was hurting alot and I then heard the lady tell the trainee who did the 4th injection that the whole time it had been in the wrong place (deep in my muscle). This injection site remained sore for months after. I started panicking and highly regretting my decision to have it done at this hospital but it was too late because I passed out soon after. They did try to calm me down which was nice but after the procedure I woke up and a nurse went to cut my hospital tag off my ankle and completely cut a chunk of my skin with a pair of scissors. Really don't know what goes on at this hospital but sometimes it feels like they just pick anyone off the street to hire. I've definitely had some good experiences where the workers have been very kind and caring but most of the time they make you feel like you don't belong there and should just go home unless your dying. Makes me wonder what else goes on in this place that no one knows about.

My father was admitted to Palative Care where the staff and doctors looked after him until he passed away. The care and compassion extended to him and my family was more than I could have asked for.Medical staff and nurses were fantastic. Thank you to everyone.

For a small country hospital I’m impressed with the level of care they can offer. I had one doctor at UCC that was incredibly rude and tried to send me home with no assistance. Waited twenty minutes for the next doctor to start and was treated immediately with no issues. Every other doctor has been efficient and I’ve got no complaints about all the other doctors.I use multiple services from KDH and can’t fault their services considering the size of the hospital and the fact it’s a country hospital with limited resources.
