I took in an iPhone and iPad to be repaired. The iPhone was ready in an hour. I was told the iPad would be ready the next day.When I picked up the iPhone, it was taped with sticky tape around the edges. I was told that I could remove it in a hour. When I did later that evening I noticed there was glue stuck around the edges. While listening to a podcast before going to bed, the volume buttons got really hot and a very strong chemical smell was coming from the phone. I stopped using my phone and went to bed. The next morning, I noticed the back of the screen near the volume button was cracked.I took the phone back later that next day and was told that this never happened before. It wasn’t their fault. They would replace it for $100. My husband asked to speak to the manager. She said she was the manager. He asked to speak to the owner. She called someone but wouldn’t let my husband talk to them. They said they’d replace it for $90. We declined. We asked for our iPad but she wasn’t sure which which was ours. We had to tell her. It was in pieces as they were waiting for a part still. I’m definitely concerned that we’ll have problems with the iPad, when it’s finally ready.Definitely avoid this shop.

Took my iphone X in the repair the charger port.At first they did a clean, after which it didn't charge for me at all.Bought a new cord in case it was my issue.Still didn't charge.Went in the next day, person told me to come back in an hour.Came back, still didn't work.I said to just replace to whole charged port after this and they said they would. Told me it would be 2 days.Instead called me after and now told me it would be 25 days.No responsibility and to be honest no real effort to help with the issue.Just all of a sudden didn't become their problem.My phone would charge before I took it in. Now it doesn't charge at all.

THE WORST, MOST UNETHICAL & DISHONEST REPAIR STORE.Avoid this store at all costs!!! They have zero respect for other human beings. Wish I had read reviews before going here.First came to TJ Mobile Repairs 1.5 weeks ago to fix the LCD screen of my iPhone 11. They said $250 cash to repair and then $35 for the tempered glass screen protector. They said they don’t have itemised receipts available. When I came home there was a gap between the bottom of the new screen and the original handset where there was a green bar and the screen was not placed correctly. I went back on 30 Dec 2021 and they said they will repair it free of charge and acknowledged that they had done a poor job. They took off the tempered glass protector and said it doesn’t matter if I don’t have it because they would be repairing it anyway. They said that the technician was not in and to come back 2 January 2022. Additionally, my phone kept coming up with an alert that the screen is not a genuine part.I dropped my phone between 30/12-2/1 and the screen cracked, but I thought nothing of it as the women had told me it doesn’t matter if it damages as they would be replacing it.The same two women were there 2/1/22 and said that I would be repaired to pay again, as they said that the screen had cracked since. I refuted that they had told me it didn’t matter and that they would be replacing it. They didn’t replace the tempered glass on 30/12 for this very reason. They said, “pay or leave”. I chucked a hissy and said they can keep my freaking phone. I couldn’t go to ACCC as the store had said they needed payment in cash and can’t do receipts. Further to this, it’s bizarre that when I came on 30/12 the women said the technician was not in but when I came today it was the same 2 women.I complained to the centre manager and he paid $200 to the store to fix my screen. He gave me the receipt. The women at the store charged me $285 and said they can’t do receipts?!?Avoid TJ Mobile Repairs at all costs. This store is unethical, uses cheap parts, demands payment in cash, overcharges customers to what their fee usually is, says they cannot provide receipts and will exploit you for hundreds of dollars for something that is their fault that they acknowledge.This business should not be operating, they are criminals and deserve to go out of business since they have no qualms about stealing, lying, breaking consumer laws and exploiting customers.EDIT: I paid for the $35 tempered glass protector. They put on their $10 one. I am still receiving the warning on my phone of incompatible LCD screen.Look at the positive reviews here - the posters have only posted 1 review. Very suspect… Not surprised at all they are on ACCC's radar.UPDATE 20/4/22:Sidra the manager refused to provide a receipt, physically assaulted me & called me a “rubbish b**t*h”. Denied this to centre security, called me a liar saying I had never spent money there. Centre security said to call the police about Sidra breaching consumer law - it’s a civil matter to be resolved through the ACCC & Consumer Affairs. Will be pursing this further and prepared to go to the small claims court if necessary.

warning - warning this company is con.took my Apple watch for repair , had to go 4 times because every time I came to collect the watch different problem, they first time watch just didn't work , second time started plashing and whole part of the watch fell off because it was glued for some reason.the third time I asked Sidrha the manager as she presented her self if this is 100% fixed this time she said yes we purchased original part don't work , I specifically asked if they insured the waterproofing and she confirmed yes.4th time I went about 4-5 cause after washing the dishes the watch stopped working completely.the Manager Sidrha claims now that warranty is for 3 months only and she sorry no warranty.I specially asked if she made sure its waterproofed correctly and she confirmed.don't go to repair anything in this store they unprofessional and wont take any responsibility after took your money.

Horrible! Really horrible. I went to a watch repaired and just had the battery taken out. Then I went to this con shop foe me to ask him to put the battery back because my hands were dirty. and charged me $30.00 to install it. These guys are con artists Never again. When I asked why he said that's his minimum fee???? What a hip off! He also pays for his good reviews so watch out!!

Terrible! Took my iPhone in with a crack on the camera. He replaced the camera but the photo quality was no good so it was agreed the replacement was no good either. He put the original back in which would have been fine. Except on the way home the phone restarted. After that it never reconnected to Telstra. Took it back next morning and he denied it was anything he did. Went to Apple upstairs who diagnosed the antenna was not working. The antenna is located right beside the camera. They opened it up and found screws missing and the camera cowling missing. Antenna not repairable so up for a new phone. Went back to TJ who denied everything and played dumb. Don’t go there, spend the extra and stick with Apple.

DO NOT GO THERE. This guy is dodgy!I had a glass screen cover put on with him. When I picked my phone up I noticed scratches on the screen. I asked him and he said it was on my phone, not the screen. I assured him that my phone had no scratches as I always had protection on it and so he said that if he takes it off to check, it’ll break and it’ll cost me another $35 to put another on. I couldn’t be bothered so I left it assuming it will work. But then I went home and I couldn’t type on my screen so I pulled the glass screen protector myself and I was 100% right, there were no scratches on my phone and he gave me a faulty screen to start of with. I took it back and asked for a replacement and he started yelling and telling me that it’s broken and repeatedly yelled while pointing at my the glass protector “how can I replace this, it’s broken, I have cameras”. To be honest, I’m not sure if he was playing dumb or he really is. I left the store because we were going in circles and filed a complaint with Southland. Will never EVER go back again!

Very prompt service! Got my iPhone screen fixed last week in just 15 minutes. Phones works well.Good customer service.

This was my first experience with the TJ Mobiles. I found Sidd to be extremely helpful in updating my I phone software and transferring my data from old phone to new one . She also recommended that I replace plastic cover of my phone to glass Protector. The phone is now like new. Great Work.Sara
