I came to Richard hopeful yet sceptical as I had never really connected with any psychologists in the past. Richard was different. What he did to give me an understanding of myself and why I was feeling the way I was is truly a gift, I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has a great understanding of people and of human behaviour and thanks to him I am now in a positive place in my life

I have been meeting Helena regularly for the past few months and I could not recommend her job as psychotherapist highly enough. It was the first time I came across a core energetics approach for my issues but, both her professionalism and knowledge on that matter, made me realize soon I was in the right place with the right person.Moreover, Helena kind approach and true understanding of what I was going trough helped me to open up properly and face my deepest fears and problems. She has got the rare gift of trying to genuinely help people to achieve their goals striving to make herself redundant so that, in time, they will have all the tools needed to overcome their issues.I can say without doubts that Helena has helped me and the relationship with my husband more than anyone else in the past ( I have in fact met several therapists in my life!!! ) and I always look forward for my fortnightly session with her.

I came to the Energetics Institute because I was interested in learning about Somatics and how to transform Emotional Energy. I love that Richard not only utilises a Holistic approach (that is tailored toward what is needed in the moment) but is also an extremely down to earth person. I very much resonated with this and as a result, thoroughly enjoy working with him.I feel much stronger within myself having worked with Richard and cannot thank him enough for his help when it has been needed. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for support in any area of their life.

Richard is a remarkable psychotherapist and man! My partner and I have been seeing Richard weekly for the past 9 months for ourselves and our relationship. We can honestly say we are together thanks to the insight and tools Richard has given us.He is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met. The way in which he articulates information and relates it to your experiences with examples and metaphors speaks right to your soul.He has a unique gift and an innate knowing to pinpoint exactly how you think, feel and act coupled with the answers on how to change it for excellent results.Personally, I have never felt so understood by a person. He even helps me to know myself better than I ever could.For our relationship, there have been several times where we have walked into those sessions about to break up and then after one hour we are re-connected and stronger than before. Every single time, Richard helps us to reach a new level of understanding and awareness.Thanks to Richard, we are able to communicate more effectively as a couple and as individuals we have reached a whole new level of consciousness and growth.Highly recommend Richard- he is the real deal.

I met Richard at one of ladies’ support group meetings where he ran a series of talks about different mental conditions (narcissism, depression, trauma, etc.). His presentations gave me very good view and better understanding of myself and other people and I decided to look for his help with some of my issues. I wasn’t in a very good emotional state at the time due to toxic and abusive work environment. I tried a few different ways to change my feelings towards this situation but hardly noticed any difference. I also had an issue with occasional back pain for years that was unbearable for me and affected me mentally and emotionally very badly. Richard identified the roots of my situations and took me through a few processes to clear the hidden conditions. I was surprised how easy and effective these healing processes were. I keep using them for other situations as well and they bring so much calm and security back in my life. I now work for a different company where I am treated very differently, and I hadn’t had back pain since my healing with Richard. I keep his details because I believe that he really can help to restore emotional peace and confidence in case I need some help again.

I found Richard when I was in crisis, and he has helped me immensely. Having already undergone CBT and other talk therapies for (historic) PTSD, I was frustrated by my inability to use those strategies when I was activated/in flight or fight mode.Richard's methods have allowed me to downregulate my overactive nervous system, which enables me to access those strategies, respond rather than react, and better manage my triggers.He also validated my experiences, helped me to identify/get out of further re-traumatising situations, and guided me out of survival mode.I highly recommend Energetics Institute for anyone at any stage of their healing journey.

Helena was amazing very understanding and was able to provide me insightful advice on issues that seem to surface in my life that were dragging me down. The spiritual guidance was very handy as well as trying to sort out how to deal with some of these emotions surfacing. Her understanding and knowledge in the area of child hood wounding and how to deal with the loss of a loved one is remarkable. Highly recommended.

I started seeing Helena in 2020, after COVID restrictions lifted and we could do 'in person' appointments. I was experiencing debilitating anxiety that was exacerbated by work stress. I wanted to take this opportunity to give Richard Boyd a review .- I first saw Richard 2.5 years ago . My marriage was in crisis and I felt overwhelmed by my feelings and confused at times.I'd had Psychotherapy before and I'd found it helpful so I was attracted to this approach .Through careful listening Richard helped me identify and validate my feelings.-I would often look up and see compassion in his eyes and gain strength from this.Over time Richard helped validate my feelings and explore what changes I was seeking in my relationship. This was a careful piece of work which required me to recognise my communication patterns as well as my partners .I can't tell you how helpful , compassionate this experience was for me , both within my relationship with my partner and also within other relationships my life .I now have more self confidence and I've built more resilience.So I feel able to cope better in life . I feel much happier and calmer in general.Over the years I've also had brief encounters with Richards wife Helena , who has also been reassuring and validating. Another skilled professional in her own right .
