Cranbourne Flooring Xtra

We replaced our whole house of flooring recently due to flood damage. We had other quotes and Flooring Xtra weren’t the cheapest, but we went with the company anyway as the salesman Matt was great, couldn’t be more helpful, wasn’t pushy and very informative, even dropped off samples to our home. James came and did the measure up promptly, so we placed our order with them.We had a start date and then it pains me to say that the communication went down hill between Flooring Xtra and the carpet and vinyl layers.We had paid for heavy furniture to be moved and laundry and toilet tiles to be removed. When both the Vinyl layer and Carpet layer came, they seemed totally unaware of what the job involved. It was very stressful time for us as we were moving things from one place to another as they couldn’t get information right about who was doing what and when. I feel had they communicated with each other clearly we would not have had so many dramas that week. The Vinyl layer true to his word came back the following week and he knew his trade and we ended up with a good job done and was very pleasant to deal with. The Carpet layer on the other hand was in a rush and his manner came across as quite rude. We did end up with the carpet looking ok but there was a lot of argument about who was going to finish it off and we shouldn’t have had to deal with that. I just hope Flooring Xtra takes some of our comments on board and actually do something to improve the dealings with their layers as it is one thing to have great sales team but it needs to follow through. We also had bits of damage from the layers being in a rush and I know time is money but respect doesn’t cost anything.Maureen & Michael

We had just bought a house and were looking to replace the disgusting, old carpet with some hybrid flooring. We visited Flooring Xtra in Cranbourne, and James was so helpful and knowledgable. He took the time to help us choose the right flooring in the shop. We narrowed it down to 3 options. James then arranged to meet us at the house at a time convenient for us, and brought the 3 samples we liked so we could see them in the house. We were very relieved that James was able to schedule the installation within our timeframe (we had 4 weeks before we moved in). Throughout the whole process James was professional and approachable. Our new flooring looks great! We would definitely recommend Flooring Xtra in Cranbourne to friends and family. Thank you for all your help James.

Excellent. Very quick to finish and respectful workers too..I thought that floor will not be finished till Saturday but Friday mid day everything is done perfectly. Now I can celebrate my birthday tomorrow with my new floor boards. Thank you and cuddos to the two young traidie who did the job well.

Recently purchased and got some laminate timber flooring and carpet installed from flooring xtra in Cranbourne.Service was awesome and very professional, from start to finish it was a very easy process and the result was beyond expectation. Would highly recommend using!!
