PC is an all round exceptional college that instils in its students a sense of self belief and a desire to be the best that you can be - whatever that is.

As a first-time reviewer on Google, I am eager to express my thoughts and experiences as a mum whose daughter recently began her journey as a senior school student at PC. I am really happy with the level of support and communication provided by the school, especially considering that my daughter initially had few acquaintances. I am also pleasantly surprised by the strong sense of community, even among new parents. I had assumed that a senior school environment might not foster this type of culture. Transitioning from a co-ed primary school (which my daughter loved and thrived in) to PC was a difficult decision in the beginning. However, the school has exceeded our expectations, and my daughter is truly happy with her experience so far with friendship, broad learning opportunities and the range of co-curricular activities offered.I can't comment on the bullying but there is a definite focus on well-being and being a caring person. Considering the huge influence of social media, I hope the school will further educate both students and parents regarding online behaviour and the potential consequences associated with it.

The junior school at Perth college was amazing. I received tremendous support and was assisted with any friendship problems. The senior school was shocking. I found teachers laughing at my trauma. Don’t open up to the therapists there. They will tell everyone. They also don’t care about your problems. The school cares more about its look then the mental health of the students.

Former student, can confirm that the school has zero care for student wellbeing. During my time, the principal, Jenny Ethel, requested I wear the winter blazer to hide self-harm scars because she didn't want it to reflect poorly on the school's reputation. Nepotism is the central pedagogical model. Loved the PE teachers though, who, as I recall like most teachers, were overworked and undervalued. In fact, the school had some great teachers, but also some horrible ones. Additionally, the principal plays a significant role in a school's culture. The deputy principal at the time was fantastic. It is unfortunate that she wasn't the principal. She would have done a far better job than Ethel. I highly doubt that Perth College has ventured far from a toxic culture that is based on suppressing anything that jeopardises the image it wants to project and protect.

If you love your child don't send them to Perth College. Bullying is poorly dealt with and covered up. The priority is the image of the school not the wellbeing of students. They don't care about you! They state values of courage

I went to this school, I can only say how much racism there is. Kids not touching coloured children because they look “black and icky” is something that the school should do more about. Even after letting the school know about the issue, nothing was done about it.

While Perth College does indeed possess the funds and facilities necessary for a quality education, it does not mean that they will provide it.Cut-throat elitist culture problems infest the large majority of the staff body, with many instances of severe (and even physical) bullying and neglect relentlessly instigated by their incredible ability to draw a blind eye to suffering students, preferring to expel and/or disadvantage them rather then tarnish their precious reputation.
