If you are after meat, Peter Byes, should be your butcher. He can also supply game, venison, wallaby etc. I have been buying his goods for the last 7 years. A return journey for me is 197k's. So, some of you may think, I'm mad, but if you want good food, you'll make the journey, too!

First came across this place when I lived in Bicheno. The old fella running the shop is great for a yarn, and has the best tasting butchery meats in Tassie!Was stoked to be coming home from a fishing trip without fish in the esky (we had big camp cookups) today, as I could grab a heap of awesome meat!Got home, and Google wants to know what I think of Butler's Butchery? Righto Google, you know I love the place!

If you're passing through Campbelltown and are wanting excellent meat, stop here.Bought a steak here the other day, cut to order, exactly what I wanted. Tender and flavoursome.(I asked for the fat to be left on)
